mmm....how about a paragraph instead of a poem? Poem has too much freedom. You don't have to have puctuation, capitalization all tht grammer stuff. Spelling, though, does count.

Sorry prof! sweatdrop No offence was ment! hehe... I'll use something I wrote before. hmmm....
Night is an eagle. Comeing swiftly and silently It's prey all that wonder when he comes making a shadow over the sun.
short and simple!
I just thought f something I have always wondered. 1) what is this called: ; ? 2) after you use it (I know how to I think), do you capitalize the word afterwards?

frdee, i don't know what that's called ( i gtg to work real soon, otherwise i'd look it up for you. maybe i can find the time before i leave). I think you do capitolize the words in each new line (think "Beowulf" or "Macbeth": those were poems, in the form of epics. each line in them was capitolized. I think the rule holds true for all poems. Better safe than sorry!
Mystriotrix, thankyou for the assist, but It's a bit akward being called a prof. frdee, i wasnt offended at all. it was a good point that you made.

But that doesn't diminish the adward-factor, mind you. anything else? I'm open (and do feel free to conduct your own research; It's as the Geico commercials say; there may be better ways of spending your time on the internet. Not that Gaia isn't one of them. wink )

Mystriotrix AlEyDrEaM - Thank You, and how do I find a word on my comeputer? frdee - Don't talk back to the Professor. BK - children playing with toys girls, and boys playing together in the rainy weather Well you can either go into the Start Menu and do a search that way for Word or you can right click on the desktop and select create a new-> fold out window then hit Word Document or if you don't have word on your computer at all you can Google it and find a free download. You can also go to Fanfiction.net and download a program that is LIKE word and has spell check as well. Spell check is not for anything but to make you realize that the word is spelled wrong or not in the dictionary. You still have to do your own work in figuring out how to spell it properly and memorizing how it is spelled. One way you can do that is by finger memorization. Type the word repeatedly, correctly, having turned off all auto corrects on word. Another way is associating it with something that you know well, like naming a character a word you always spell wrong like Delicious as a name. Also, spell check won't help if you're not rereading your work to make sure that words are what you think they are. I had a problem with against, I use to spell it agents. I couldn't fathom why agents was against but some words in the English language were like that so I accepted it until I figured out, by reading against somewhere, how to spell it. Because of this I easily remember how to spell against now. ((I would be willing to help teach if I would be accepted.))
