True, Garnet's summons are stronger, but that fact that Eiko's summons can add things like Shell or Haste to you when summoned (if you have the proper accessory equipped) plus Phoenix has a chance of reviving you when KOed, well, that makes them better in my opinion. XD
I also throw Garnet into my party sometimes since I adore her. :P
That's why I'm thinking Steiner instead of Freya and Amarant; those Magic Sword techniques are useful.
I think the make-up increases Kuja's creepiness. @.@

Ah, I always feel like Phoenix and MegaPhoenixes are such a waste, 'cause they're going to miss at least one character. I've never really been one for status magic, either. I still love Eiko's spells, but I don't find it worth it.
If Kuja walked up to me, he would end up chained to my bedpost for all eternity. I'd probably have to get some kind of Oeilvert thing going on so he couldn't kill me, though (do you have any idea what I'm talking about? sweatdrop ).

Naw, like, if you have 99 Phoenix Pinions in your inventory and have Eiko in your party, then if your entire party dies, there's like a 39% chance that Phoenix will automatically be summoned and revive your whole part. 8D
And, yeah, I know what you're talking about. XD

You can dig them up when playing Chocobo Hot and Cold, plus you can steal them off a lot of enemies. You can synth. them, too. 3nodding

he is the only one in any of the final fantasy games that acts like a real human would in that type of situation

I've never really run below 90 count of my Pheonix Downs and Steiner never died (lol) so I never actually cared for Pheonix summons or Eiko as much as Dagger. Sigma Valentine I love Vivi, Garnet, Zidane, Beatrix, Freya and Amarant. I dislike Steiner very much, he's just an annoying character. I'd have to agree that Steiner was very annoying. I just wanted Zidane to take his sword and stab him with it. Zidane was my favorite, followed by Vivi (of course) I'm not a huge fan of Freya and I absolutely despise the blob that eats everything XD.... tho it had a few funny cutscenes. Like where it fell in the water in the town you meet the Doc. (sorry, haven't played in a long time.. PS2 broke sad , otherwise I would probably be playing it rite now smile

Meh, the pole doesn't really have any of the hated characters. And I don't see too much point in a hate list if you can't find all the names, but regardless, my faves are as follows. A teensy bit off topic, I love FFIX because of the wonderful character development and the beautiful plot. 1. Zidana (I would be his sister if I could. And not only cause I'd get a tail.) 2.Kuja (I love making fun of him/her and I love his poetic way of speaking.) 3. Dagger/Garnet (cause she's awesome.) 4. Vivi (cute, young, wise, and powerful) 5. Blank (Fanfiction made sure he was on this list. I heart Tantalus!)

Hey, im not fond of kuja either, but i dont go comparing him to a dancing mad evil clown.(kefka reference and song pun) personally, i think kuja's one of the best villains in the entiree series, because hes the only one that actually succeeded in destroying a world. how many villains have accomplished that? one. and his name is kuja. (his man thong creeps me out though) for the playable characters, zidane, dagger, vivi, and freya were among my favorites. Zidane because hes one of the only lead characters from the series that has an actual personality, and not an emo cliche thing. dagger i liked because even though shes a princess, she doesnt act like one, and tries to be herself.(a very hard thing to do when your royalty.) Vivi is hard not to like. And Freya... she's one of the best characters for all sorts of reasons.

Not only is he entirely competent, but he's also completely human ([ in the non-technical sense]). Everything about him builds from his past, even the methods he uses ([ by creating the black mages to mirror the Genomes and using the Invincible]). So much of his actions also revolve around Garland and Zidane; it gives him motive, a secondary struggle against Garland, and best of all, a sort of inferiority complex that sets him up perfectly for [ his total freakout near the end when Garland tells him he has a set lifespan]. Not to mention, he has one of the coolest villain airs. I mean, I personally love how he looks, but even when I admit that it's kind of goofy, I maintain that he's imposing in his own way, with the way he's always looking down at you, both metaphorically and literally. When you first see him, he's standing over your party sprawled out on the ground in the rain; he's not even the one who did it to you, and he still gives an air of superiority with it. You just glimpse him on the balcony of Treno's auction house, and you see him flying away on his silver dragon... It's mysterious, but also kind of ominous. Okay, done fangirling now. xd And to be entirely fair, he's not the only one who succeeded in destroying a world. He's just the best one.
