Krad is Dark's name spelt backwards. Plus calling him Light would be too cliche (although in the Fillipino dub he was renamed Light >.>)
The Hikari kanji in the manga actually mean 'Ice Hunter', but I assume the anime had it as 'Light'.

iouwho Why krad? Shouldnt his name be Light or something? And whats up with darks last name, Mousy?  Okay...flip the name Krad...it spellls Dark......which means Krad is the opposite of Dark..........i agree on the "Mousy" part............still kewl name......matches...."Dark Mousy"........that name is awesome!!!
