Torokukat ... you print out the lyrics of your favorite song and edit all the grammar errors.
Also...when you're mom tells you to go away after seeing you come towards her with a new book you got just so you could show her all of the grammatical errors you found.

-You hurt your foot doing track, so when you get home you get ice, wrap the ice in a paper towel, put it on your foot and start doing your homework. Halfway through your homework, however, inspiration strikes. Five minutes later, your foot is freezing due to a lack of a paper towel around the ice, but you don't mind because the essay you just scribbled down, covering the entire paper towel, is pure genius.

Yes. -_- ... because of how many writing utensils you use up on a regular basis, you start picking up any pen or pencil on the ground. ... when shopping for jeans, you bring along your keys, two lucky charms, a mini notebook, a pen, and half a candy bar (what you could live on) to check the pocket capacity to make sure you could bring all those things where ever you go.

-You tell these jokes to people in your classes and they look at you like you are crazy.
-Your characters tell you what do, from the color of socks you wear to the answer you put on your math test.

When you can't listen to a single song without trying to match it to one of your characters or to certain scenes from your story.
When you have ARGUMENTS with your characters in your head about what they need to do in the story.
When you refer to yourself as "we" or "us" on a regular basis.
When you say you have arguments with your characters in your heads instead of head. ((Corrected that up there))
When setting the table you end up setting places for your characters as well, without even noticing.
When you count people you count your characters too, without even noticing.
When you very nearly introduce people to your characters when it feels like they're right next to you.
When you can almost FEEL your characters, such as a 3 inch one siting on your shoulder.
I have done every single one of these.
And, accept for the school-related ones you all have mentioned I've done ALMOST all of them.

... you went as your character last Halloween.
... you had to explain to every house you went to what you were, not just some random person in a tunic, giant belt and a cloak.
... you plan out scenes from your stories in your head
... if anyone interupts this planning out sequence by asking you a question or talking to you, you reply with one of the lines in the scene.
