Thomas raises his eyebrows, catching little bits and pieces of the other language. He knew some from his father, but he didn't use it anymore. He didn't have anyone to use it with. "Why don't we head over there. I'm sure he'd be worried."

Hae grinned widely. "Ahru!" He flew towards the only door of the electronic store and hovered above it, waiting for Thomas to catch up. The baby began singing to himself, "Now come one come all to this tragic affair..."

Chuckling, Thomas follows the smaller boy out of the shop, keeping him within sights as they made their way over to the food court. He kept a watchful eye out for anything or body suspicious. He didn't wanna get blamed for the kids life if something happened.

Hae grinned and flew ahead, continuing to sign happily, "Wipe off that makeup, what's in is despair / So throw on the black dress, mix in with the lot / You might wake up and notice you're someone you're not..." He flew through at an adult's stomach level, so not to be in the line of vision too much.

Thomas sniffs the air, a frown passing over his face. Something smelt funny. He glances around, keeping an eye on Hae while he searches the area. Two adults brush past him, giving him a nasty glare as the bump into him. He glares back and takes another step forward, freezing instantly. Idiot! They're armed and insane! The redhead growls and rushes to catch up with Hae.

Hae flew on, rising slightly to adult chest level as he continued singing, "If you look in the mirror and don't like what you see / You can find out firsthand what it's like to be me..."
One of the gunman stopped for a moment to stare at the weird thing flying around the people. Sure, Gaia was weird, but not that weird. 'Mr. L,' he thought into his transmitter, 'there's an unidentifiable thing flying around the people. Is it a genetic experimant?'

Thomas scowls and sprints after the boy, wishing he had his own mechanical wings with him, "Hae! Slow down!" His hair, ears, and tail streamed behind him as he tried to catch up to the boy.
The second man glances in the direction of the two boys. 'Both of them seem like it.' He glances around, spotting nothing else like the two, 'Let's get them, Mr. R.'

Mr. R. gave a swift nod and pointed a silenced gun straight at Hae. He pulled the trigger...
...just as Hae obeyed the 'down' command and fell to 3' above the floor. Instead of hitting the baby, the bullet barely missed him and instead broke a store display window.
Hae, slightly freaked out now, sped towards Thomas. /What's happening?!/

Mr. L. frowns as the creature drops down to the ground, pulling his own gun out and following the older boys movements.
Thomas scoops the boy into his arms, not wanting him to get knocked into. After the glass broke and everyone saw the two men, they went into a panicked frenzy. The redhead noticed at the last moment that he was the next target.
Mr. L. fires the weapon, the bullet speeding across the way and burying into Thomas' turned back, getting a sharp cry of pain.
Even though the bullet hurt more than anything, Thomas kept his hold on the kid, gritting his teeth, "I dunno, but you aren't getting hurt on my watch, kid." He needed to get Hae somewhere safe before he could teach the men a lesson about firing on two innocent children in a public place. Especially when one of the children was a skilled fighter.

Hae gave a quiet, "Mmm-hmm," and clinged to Thomas awkwardly, as if he never clinged for dear life onto anything before.
Mr. R. frowned. Annoying freaks. He aimed at Hae again and fired, downright scowling as he heard the metal slug ricochet off of the kid's metal wings.

Thomas hisses as the sparks from the ricochet singe his hands, leaving little red marks. He pulls his arms around the kid more, using the baggy sleeves to protect him the best he could. He glances about, still running and dodging scrambling humans. Smirking, he finds a hidden crevice down one of the back hallways. Skidding around the corner he sets Hae inside the shadows, "Stay here. I'll be right back ok? You'll be nice and safe here." Even the sounds from outside were dulled down to muffled screams as people fled.
The second man growls under his breath, taking off at a stroll towards where the two had disappeared, "Come out come out, where ever you are!" He shouts above the noises around him. He could hear sirens in the distance, but ignored them as he scanned the area for the flaming hair. 'Mr. R. Go off to the left and I'll take the right.'

Hae nodded and crawled on his stomach further into the crevice as he could. Somehow, he turned around in the crack so he could watch whatever was going on.
Mr. R. gave sharp nod and searched left, looking for blue hair and metal wings. He began looking for anyplace small enough for the redhead child or the blue midget to hide.

Thomas storms off, pulling out his hidden daggers and holding them in his hands but still making sure they were hidden from eyes view. He walks out of the hallway and spots one of the men heading his way. He growls and keeps advancing on the man, eyes showing flecks of red among the purple and green.
Mr. L. turns around to check up on his partner, only to see the redhead advancing on the other man. 'Watch out. Redheads' coming at you.' He hid in the background, the mall pretty much empty now and the sirens getting closer. He figured the winged freak must be in the hallway the older freak had come out of, so he makes his way over.

Mr. R. whipped around and faced the redhead, who was armed with...knives? "Very mature," he commented wryly, pulling out his gun and aiming. "Hiding that freak friend of yours." The trigger was pulled.
Hae remained as silent and as still as he could, although his breathing was very shaky.

Thomas smirks at him, dodging to the side as the gun fired off, "Yeah, I'm hiding him. But he's not a freak. And neither am I." He smirks evily, eyes dancing crazily as he crouches down onto the ground before sprinting after the man, his knives in plain sight now, "So don't ever call us freaks again."
Mr. L. couldn't help but admire the boys courage...as well as his speed. He was really fast. But considering his appearance he held what seemed to be a rabbit and cat features. So stealth and speed were expected. 'I'm going after the winged freak. Dispose of this one and I'll take care of the other.'
