"Racheal! Rachael!" Alex said as Rachael started to scream. "Are you ok? What happend? Another bad dream?" Alex asked calmly as he tried to calm her down. He put his head on her sholder ans softly sang Silent Night to her in an attempt to calm her down. As he sang, he looked at her, he could tell she was scared, posibble another memory. But he kept singing until the song was over. Then he rubbed the back of her head gently, to make sure she was calm.

"i..It's ok......." He said, startled of what just happend. He looked around, it was still pitch black outside, weather getting colder. I'm gonna go get some fire wood.. We're gonna need it.." Alex stood up and walked out the door. "I'll be back..." As Alex left, he touched his lips and wondred Alex kept walking down the street until he found a stack of wood. He picked up about half, and started to walk off. A mech then came out of the other street and attacked him, Alex grabed his whip and defended himself. The mech was fast though, and was able to get around him enough to hit him into a building. Alex coughed, fell, but got back up and counter striked by hitting it in the fuel tank with his whip, the mech exploded, killing the human inside. Alex returned to the hotel, bleeding slightly from his back, but otherwise ok, he tossed the wood into the fire and leaned against a wall to keep balance.

"Really... It's ok... I'll be fine..." Alex said stamering, trying to keep from falling. His vision started to get blurry, seeing was becoming harder for him. He strugled to stay up but he fell. He looked around... Then started to say Rachael... I've always wanted to tell you this.. ever since I met you... I...I...." Alex fell, he was out, blood loss.

Ryuko woke up and went down to the loby. It was deserted but there was blood on the floor. It was Alex's but Rachel's blood wasn't there. Alex probly got hurt by a mech. That means they're close by. Ryuko sat down with her sword drawn. She watched the door closly to ensure that no one would enter. A mech was passing by and before it could look to see her, Ryuko cut through it, and used the wall on the otherside to go back through the non-existant door of the hotel. When she made it back in, the mech exploded, and she was back in her spot, sitting and watching the door again. Ryuko couldn't and wouldn't take her eyes off of the door. She could hear any noise anything made and she remembered the way both Rachel's and Alex's shoes sounded on the hard loby floor, so there was no way anyone or anything could suprise her.

It was still raining. It started sometime around midnight. However, the rain didn't stop the mechs from coming. Ryuko had killed 7 that night including the one she killed at the start of her watch the night before. She was still soaking wet. She was tired but that wasn't too horrible. She had left her spot once to break the reception desk so she could build a fire. She used her own technique allowing her to keep the fire going without burning the wood or anything around her. Her clothes were dry while she sat by the fire, sticking her hand in it and letting the fire wrap around it, playing with her. When bordom came on, Ryuko caused the fire to form into dragons or any animal she could think of to talk to and pet. She had created a small wolf and it was sitting in her lap when she heard movement in Alex's room. Ryuko wasn't sure, but she thought it must have been almost 7:00 am.

Alex notices Rachael is tossing and turning alot. He puts his hand on her head and starts to rub her head slowly, then he sings a lullaby to her in a soft voice. It started to get colder, but Alex didn't mind, he was trying to keep Rachael safe, so he took the blankets and tucked her in with those. Then he kissed Rachael on the cheek, and walked out to where Ryuko was guarding. "Hey Ryuko, whats the si-.... Damn 7?! I slept through 7 attacks?!" Alex said as he seen the 7 destroied mechs outside. "Well, either way, I'm gonna go stay with Rachael, you can go to sleep ya know.... Get some rest, your gonna need it." Alex then walked back into the room where Rachael was sleeping and sat down next to her.

Hears the screams of Ryuko.... Jumps up notices Alex... We have to help! Grabs Alex hand and runs out of the room, while running my wings and halo appear, I pull out my katana and my whip appears...... flies in the middle of the battle with Ryuko.... You want some help???...... Does here power of clouding the minds of the humans.... You see the machines hold still and looks confused..... I start to stab gas tanks and you see all the explosions burning all of the humans.... whips the heads of the mechines off and jumps in and stabs the humans.... After a while my energy is gone and I am growing weaker..... You guys I am introuble and the machines are not letting up!!! We have have to leave!! We are out numbered!!!!! Flies up in the air and looking for a way out of the machine maze...... Alex Catches my eyes, I look at him and the elagant way he is fighting, it is like his is dancing, even with the destruction..... once again loses sight and what is going on around me..... as gun shot sound noise knocks me out of my trance, then a sharp pain hits my stomach.... Screams OUCH!! I have been hit!!!!...... I start to get weaker and weaker........ my wings cannot support me and the pain.... I start to fall out of the sky...... Damit this is going to hurt more!! Crashes on a roof top .... The pain is unbearable from the gun shot wound and the fall.. it start to get dark I am sooooo tired, They have to be able to find me!!! soaked in blood, I use my once pure white wings, now heavier because they are soaked in blood, to glide me over to the edge of the roof.... Thinking.. This is going to hurt but I have to do it!!! looking for something soft to land on, seeing a patio cover over the enterance... throws myself over the side of the roof and while falling pass out.............
