Natalie nodded at Vespera's suggestions. There was something not quite right about these slytherins. They were dark. To dark for her taste and they made a shiver run down her spine. She still hadn't figured it out. She would get more information from the pixie later. She accepted the beans and placed them in her from shirt pocket. Immediately, the pixie jumped in it and began chomping on them gladly. The thing had the biggest appetite she'd ever seen. "Yes he tends to be a bit troublesome. We should leave you now though. I'm sorry to have interuppted you." Natalie began to back up, ready to take flight or even fight if neccesary. Everything in them said bad news and she had been hearing about the rumors of Death Eaters. She still needed to excercise control dealing with her power. it was one of the reasons she still was a student at Hogwarts. To master her magic skills. Almost absently, she grabbed for Vespera's hand. "It was nice seeing you four."

Vespera jumped a bit at Natalie's light grip, although quickly realized it was the older Gryffindor and calmed won a bit, "Yes, it was nice seeing you..." she repeated, looking at the four nervously before pulling Natalie back towards their compartment, her other hand gripping her foe glass tighter then she was before.
Xaviera looked over at the two younger women as they departed, kicking the door closed again and turning back to her companions, "Who do you think'll go for it first?" she asked, knowing they would understand what she meant, "I sense that Natalie has some tense emotions about certain matters... but she is a Gryffindor, and a legilimens at that," she said, leaning back in her seat as she ate one of the pepper imps, breathing out a bit of smoke before she continued.
"Vespera is a werewolf, and only a Ravenclaw - a fairly neutral house... however, she is pretty paranoid, so it will be hard to get her to trust us enough to convert her, you know?" she asked, the question was somewhat rhetorical, but she didn't care. She found both of the girls interesting, although Xaviera would have to meet them more... properly, if she was to truly judge them.

"If you can keep it a secret," Xaviera said, leaning in closer to Katherine, although she spoke loud enough for the others to hear her faintly. "It isn't really legilimency, but I do have something up my sleeve... call it a mix of sensing auras and empathy, if you please - but I think it could help you bring that Natalie girl to our side..." she said, leaning back in her seat as she continued to explain what she had trained herself to do over the past summer, "I can't tell what people are thinking - but I get their basic statistics and their feelings... I have never met, or even heard of Natalie or Vespera before today, however when they get close enough - I can sense their powers, their ages, their names, and above all else..." she took a long pause as she grinned wickedly, "Their inner most feelings. I pick up the more prominent ones also, for instance - neither of them particularly trusted us, they were both suspicious of the kind nature we exhibited, and they both believe we are probably Death Eaters - however... while Natalie can unconsciously cloak some of her emotions, I can tell that Vespera is not completely against the dark side... perhaps because she is a werewolf, perhaps because of something else."

Natalie forced herself not to give into the shakes that were threatenting her. Once they reached their compartment, she pulled back from Vespera and gave a small smile her way. "I had best get to this letter." She pulle dout the letter from the Ministry and opened it, sitting so that no one but her would be able to read it. She also put a spell so that no one but her would be able to read it. Just in case. It was simply done without a thought, keeping it from Vespera. She glanced at the pixie and nodded to it. She would speak with it later.
The pixie leapt off her shoulder with the beans and settled itself by Vespera. It eyed her shoulder for a breif moment before leaping up on it. It then began to squeak and chatter endlessly to her, not caring if she understood or not.
Natalie focused on the letter.
Dear Miss Tremanar,
Even though we have agreed that you ar enot to be considered to be called upon, we have a need to do so now. There have been rumors of trouble at Hogwarts itself. Death Eaters seem to have made their way in. We do not know who they are but we do know that they are planning something. We also have suspicions that these Death Eaters know the whereabouts of the remains of He-who-must-not-be-named. We will send letters by any other way besides owls as they will become suspicious. All evidence will be passed on to you. We have also placed one of our own within the vicinity of the school as a teacher so that they will be able to keep a look out for trouble from there. The teacher knows of you and your name so you will have no need to worry about finding this person.
Ministry of Magic
Natalie stared at the letter. Death Eaters at Hogwarts. What was the world coming to. She shivered as she thought about the slytherins. She had no proof. All she had was a feeling. So she had to focus her energy on her ability and practice as much as possible. She had to make certain that she could continue on with this assignment without any trouble.

Kamen shrugged, watching his cousin whisper to his Yule ball date and listening to their conversation contently. He had presumed Xaviera had acquired a power like that of some sort - especially after she asked the pixie whether it was the werewolf or legillimens who owned him before she had even opened the door. He turned to Cail, looking him over for a moment before tapping Xaviera's shoulder and nodding his head towards her boyfriend.
"Raven," she replied quickly, turning her gaze back to Katherine, "Kamen is an animagus too, a sphinx infact - fairly rare, although he is from Egypt, so I suppose it is to be expected..." she said out loud, incase Cail cared to know before she changed her tongue, hissing softly to the other girl, "Of course I can teach you love, it is quite useful - especially considering our goal for the year, if the opportunity ever arises without much warning - it is always good to have some basic stats... I can teach it to you if you bring Cail along to my room, he can do something with Hebi while we train - or he could make friends with Kamen."
Kamen, still holding his stomach in pain, glared at his sister - recognizing one of the hisses to be his name, despite the fact that he didn't speak the language - he picked up on the distinct sound of his name. He turned to Cail, figuring they were talking about him too and tilted his head curiously. A raven, eh? he thought, a faint smirk gracing his features at the thought.
----
Vespera smiled lightly at the small creature, looking at it for a moment, "I guess they didn't try to poison him..." she said softly, more to the pixie then to Natalie. She kept her gaze on the pixie, although she could smell the distinct scent of fear on Natalie. However, the other girl seemed to be as secretive as she was paranoid - so she chose not to inquire.

Glancing up at the human, the pixie squeaked a little. He never had gotten poisoned ever before and he never would. He felt almost insulted. Then he remembered. The girl was a human. THey didn't quite understand about their species. He instead offered a bean up to her. She seemed nice enough.
Natalie bit her lip. Looking up at Vespera, she smiled to see if she could ease her unease. She folded the letter and slipped in her back pocket. She would burn it later. She chuckled softly. "He thinks highly of you. He does not willingly offer food to anyone."

Vespera smiled, taking the bean from the creature and eating it slowly – wary of the company’s peculiar taste in flavors, ”Ginger…” she said softly after swallowing the bean – looking over at Natalie. “You know, that girl… the oldest one, I believe her name is Xaviera or something odd like that, I heard her through the door, she said she could sense a legillimens and… a werewolf,” she said warily, hoping that a girl with an interest in mystical beings would not fear her as her previous acquaintances had. It was a secret well kept by those she told – but many broke most contact with her after they learned, even in the day and age of a greater population of them, many people still do not trust in the Wolfsbane.
“As I am not a legillimens, and nobody else smelled like a werewolf nearby, I’m afraid I must inquire, and I apologize if it is rude for asking, if you are a legillimens… while I do not normally trust the words of a Slytherin, that girl seemed a bit unnatural herself.”

Natalie blushed slightly. "I am the Legilemens. A curse carried on from my parents. I've taken a firm control of it though and only use it when I need to. So I'm assuming your a werewolf? Interesting. I've never actually met one that wasn't half out of it's mind from the moon." Natalie's eyes lit up with curiosity.

“I practically drown down the Wolfsbane,” Vespera replied simply, pausing for a moment before adding more, “But I have been known to be a bit more jumpy, or just pissy, around the full moon - it varies really…” she finished, leaning back in her seat a bit as she thought about the upcoming full moon, it was always much more troublesome to deal with the transformations during the school year.

Kamen took the chocolate frog from Cail, nodding his head politely as he looked at his cousin and, he paused in his stream of thoughts for a moment to search for the right word, girlfriend. The concept of having a girlfriend was an odd one to him, although Katherine was much more tolerable then many of the girls (including Xaviera) he had ever met. Looking down at the fudge-flavored amphibian, he ripped off one of the magically possessed legs, eating it slowly to savor the taste.
“From their speech, I can distinct, Perhaps because we are so linked, Of the two of us and their beloved snakes, Is that of which their conversation makes… My parsel, however, is pre-birth extinct…” Kamen allowed himself to let out the limerick to his Yule Ball’s brother – considering the younger boy a possible candidate for a friend, or perhaps an older prodigy if the need for such an accomplice came to be. Biting off the head of the chocolate frog, he smirked lightly to himself at the sheer thought.
Xaviera grinned brightly (but darkly, at the same time) at her best friend, nodding her head to their male relatives with amused interest. “I have no idea how he knows the word of snake and Cail in parseltongue – languages like this one aren’t normally ones you can pick up one… but I suppose that is why he only knows the two words, ne? It is interesting, but I suppose inevitable – that there would be differences in each hiss…” she hissed at her friend, her eyes widening suddenly as she abruptly reached for her bag of potions.
“I just remembered…” she said, reverting back to English, “That my father got an inside-Ministry potion here – thought you two would find it interesting…” she continued, rummaging through the bag until she pulled out a few thin vials with an indigo shaded liquid in them, soft fumes noticeable at the top of the bottle, “Mendaserum, reverses the effects of Veritaserum, or if the person has yet to drink the truth potion, it can make them tell only lies… I thought it could be useful.”
((btw – I made up the mendaserum, based off of mendacious – which is pretty much the antonym of veritas… although made more English… so since it has latin origins too – I thought that would be the most logical name for the potion… added serum to the end too))

>> Only the blackest of hearts“Please do, love,” Xaviera said sweetly to Cail, tossing a bottle lightly to the younger male as she pondered over the thought he had thrown into discussion. She looked distantly across the small cart’s room for a moment before she replied. “Many animagus understand what their species says, at least to some degree… infact, I have heard that cat and dog animagus can speak with the opposing species, she said, picking up a chocolate from, sucking on it’s leg for a moment before biting roughly into the soft candy. She chewed for a moment before looking back at the other two, “Cail, a question I have wanted to ask an animagus before, but never found the time – can you understand, or have heard of others of your kind, understanding the words of the birds even while they are human?” she asked curiously, slowly lowering the struggling amphibian into her mouth and swallowing most of it whole. She has wondered things about the animagus, but as her cousin was a less mundane species, he did not have all the information she desired.
“It is a pity that I am not an animagus…” Xaviera said, more to herself then the others, with a deep dramatic sigh, before she smirked in her usual sinister way. “Yet.” Can feel the purest of love <<
