Thursday, February 24th, 2005:
Mom found Sin today. She was hiding under the chain of this real heavy necklace thing that Mom got sad when she saw. It was kinda the same sad as that day she bought the sweets for us.

Saturday, February 26th, 2005:
Before I begin, let me say that if my writing is kinda sloppy, it's cause Sin and I are hiding from Mom. See, I sorta did an oopsie. A big one. A HUGE one... But it wasn't completely my fault. Sin was the one who was bored... Were too.
Anyways, Sin was bored, so I took her outside to fly in the garden with me. But she wanted to see the flowers, and started rolling around in my arms, and I sorta lost my grip on her and she fell over the wall into Mr. Callahan's yard. The yard with the dog. And apparently Muffins (the dog) likes shiny objects, or maybe he just wanted to make my life miserable, because Muffins dragged Sin off to his doghouse. We had to wait for Mr. Callahan to take Muffins for a walk before I could go and get Sin out of the doghouse. What kind of name for a dog is Muffins, anyways? For a boy dog, no less. Mom said that Mrs. Callahan named the dog. I didn't know there WAS a Mrs. Callahan, and Mom said that's because they're divorced, and apparently Mr. Callahan keeps the dog just to annoy his ex-wife. Mr. Callahan doesn't sound any nicer than his dog.

Sin wandered off again. That's not very nice of her. I took her into the garden, at least she could have taken me wherever it was she's gone off to.

Sin's right. Mom's shoes are pretty comfortable.
Mom says I should go hang out with the other Rels more often. I'd rather not. Mom says it's not healthy for me to be so isolated. I think Mom's been reading too many psychology textbooks. If she gets too determined, maybe I can stave off a parental intervention by going and bothering Nox for a bit. Maybe his sister will be around.....

Tuesday, March 8th, 2005:Sin EMERGED today~! Well, first she went missing again, and then she tried to eat me, and I was so surprised that I went all the way to the Reli Shop. It was SO cool. Not that she tried to eat me. That I went to the shop. REFERENCE

It's probably fibbing again. Bet my allowance that it's wrong.

AQUARIUS:Your mouth is still operating at a speed that's amazing even you. So before you go off on someone you love because they can't keep up, or just aren't on the same page, stop. Wait. Think.
Well nothing happened yesterday, so I think it's pretty safe for me to leave the house. Mom's all geared up about her friend PawsCat moving into our new house soon. Mom's just gotta prod this friend of hers to move so that Alae, the one who sold us the house we live in now, can move. She's staying in PawsCat's apartment until then. I think. I get kinda confused about who's where right now 'cause it changes faster than the politics in central Africa.
Ugh. I've been watching too much National Geographic. Mom's developed this addiction to it recently, and she keeps talking in her sleep.

AQUARIUS:Family members and friends you think of as family will take on new, deeper worth to you over the next few days. So when they ask for your opinion, you should certainly give it. But cushioning the blow wouldn't hurt.
Mom's going nuts. That's about all I can come up with. She sleeps almost ten hours a night, but then wakes up completely exhausted. And she has these whole long conversations in her sleep. Except they make absolutely no sense whatsoever. Not that they're random words, even, but random SOUNDS. There aren't even WORDS in the gibberish she spouts. I tried to figure it out for a while, but I started giving myself headaches. Even Sin's worried. At least I think she is. It's harder to understand her now that she doesn't have sides.

AQUARIUS:At last, a day that you can live with. The universe has seen fit to get you connected with someone who may actually be as intelligent as you are, and almost as interesting. Get dressed and get out there.
Mom got a good night's sleep last night for the first time in a long time. I think it's cause she's got a cold. Just the SMELL of those meds they have her on makes me sleepy, so I have a feeling she could knock a horse out with a good sized dose. Sin and I are planning a 'road trip' to go see the new tower in Gambino. Yesterday we went down and peered in the windows at the Von Helson mansion, and we want to compare. Oh, and no matter what Edmund says, we didn't MEAN to knock that display rack over.

Saturday, March 19th, 2005:
Ugh. I didn't realize Gambino was so far. We only made it to Barton before lunchtime, so we stopped at this nice cafe near the Guild building, and then we window shopped in Barton. Sin wanted to get a bracelet at Agatha's and use it as a collar, but we didn't have any money. Not like that would have stopped Sin ordinarily, but the guild building is awfully close. Sin's not afraid of Leon, but she is afraid of what Rina'd do if she scratched him.
Obviously, we didn't make it to Gambino, so next time we go, we gotta go earlier and move faster. Of course, we can see the tower from our back garden, but Sin's dared me to try to float all the way to the top. But, uh... Don't tell Mom, k?

AQUARIUS:You're not quite ready for a rest. Not yet. Maybe tomorrow, you're thinking. Well, in the meantime, why not connect with unusual friends you don't see all that much of? Isn't it just about time?
Mom shuttled Sin 'n me over to Aekea to get ideas for my eventual whatever it's going to be. Everything there was so big, though, that it was kinda hard for me to picture. Mom promised she'd take me to this 'dollhouse' store she knows of where things are more me-sized.
Did I mention that Aekea has the WEIRDEST shopkeepers? They're these wacky robots, and one of them was really creepy. I'm kinda glad I don't have to go there again to buy my stuff.

The flowers are finally blooming in the back garden. Mom was real excited about it, cause they just put the big garden window in the kitchen. She was muttering something this morning about putting in a greenhouse to grow orchids, too.

Mom's been freaking out about this incantation she wants to put on our front door. She's got eighteen or nineteen different versions, and it's beginning to border on obsession. I'm going to go hide in her jewelry box because if she asks me one more time if she should have it rhymed or unrhymed, I'm going to project myself to the bottom of the ocean just to get away from her.

AQUARIUS:You might have been able to restrain yourself from verbally flying off the handle yesterday, but that probably won't work now. Better hide somewhere -- far away from communication devices -- if you're trying to be nice.
Ugh. Sin and I are seriously thinking about taking what's left of the week and just heading out on our trip to Gambino. Mom still hasn't found just the right phrasing for that incantation, and she's driving us nuts.
On top of all this, Mom's got a pile of anti-Gambino and anti-Von Helson signs in the garden that she got to use as garden stakes. She's not very political, my mom. I don't think she likes either of them very much, but she minds her own business about it. On the other hand, people around here are getting positively militant about it. Mom made me hide all her pins and balloons and hats and anything else that could mistake her as siding with one side or the other.
