Caumi constructive critism please biggrin http://www.deviantart.com/view/14536572/ for anatomy (been practicing whee sorries the picture is overly huge) andhttp://www.deviantart.com/view/10071432/ the scanner butchered it sad oh my seems i havent introduced myself =O me name is beth (yes im a girl stare ) you can call me niku caumi bethers whatever you so please to live in south jersey (boring as hell here i tell you sweatdrop youre not from south jersey 'til youve gone to cow town then you know life has hit rock bottom xd ) My first advice is to use punctuation signs in your text. Otherwise, I won't even bother reading past line two, because I read out loud inside my head and can't figure out the rhythm. Second advice is not to make the pictures horribly huge, otherwise some people won't be able to help you much (i.e., people like me) And on the subject of anatomy... I really don't know. It's not good, definetely. It looks like a guy who dressed like a girl. Her body is not shaped like a girl's, and in fact it looks like a thing guy with two blobs plastered as boobs. Oh, and a skirt. Or something. It doesn't look good. What.

velderia http://velderia.deviantart.com/ Flame away. BE AS MEAN AS POSSIBLE. uh, hi. the disco girl is cute (i rike the hair) but you really need to look at more real life models (or at least pictures) even when pulling an anime style. for one, i think her clothes should have a wrinkle or two. :3

Hey there,
I'm keep it together. Or Chloe. But you can just call me... KIT. Even though I'd probably not recognize that as me, or respond. Anywho, I live in NY and I'm working to become a better artist then I am. I'm saving up for a tablet, but I have a pretty good control over a mouse anyways. It doesn't mean I'm a good artist. I'm just lurking, and lurking, and finding lots of ways to improve myself. Maybe one day I'll post some of my work, and maybe yet another day far away from now, I'll apply for a membership (and be rejected among gales of laughter.) See you around. domokun

Aaalright! My name is Liane, and I'd love some constructive criticism. I do draw anime-style art, usually, although I've been slowly delving into some more realistic type pieces. Here are a few examples: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/15308399/ This was a commission for a friend on Gaia, and is my newest CG piece. http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/12286185/ This is a newer (although not, really, so new..) colored-pencil piece. I like the anatomy in this one. http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/10495199/ I don't like this one, but I think I read somewhere to post unfavorite pictures, too. whee I think her skin tone is off, as is the makeup. I think I need more practice with makeup to successfully pull it off. http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/8140529/ This was my first experiment with a more realistic style, done last summer. It's not too good, especially since it's in pen and on lined paper, but I'm still pleased with it. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v50/evilweevil04/DV_breakdance.jpg This is a doodle I did for of another friend on Gaia. I generally am proud of the anatomy and wrinkles. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v50/evilweevil04/Meghan_HAWT.jpg One of my newest "realistic" pieces, although it isn't as realistic as the other example I posted. And, lastly, http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v50/evilweevil04/DanRadcliffeWannaBe.jpg Another example of a foray into a more realistic tone. Ideas for improvement? heart

Ideas for improvement? heart You definetely need to focus more on realism. Your "anime-style" is too... Stereotypical. The first step towards finding yourself is knowing reality first, then turning to yourself to find another path. Practice, practice, practice. Particularly realism. You're on the right track, but you still need to try a broader variety of realistic stuff (Poses, bodies, etcetera).

Hallo.... You know my name.... I'm 20 going on 50.... I'm from El Paso, TX.... And I think I'm going to remain a starving artist for a very long time.... sad I don't need help at the moment.....well, I just need to know if you think anything else should be added to this [ link]. To me, there's something missing...besides color...and I can't think of what. If you decide to critique anything else, please be sure to read the description first....I hate people that don't read. stare

Hi, I'm PearlZenith, or PZ for short. You could call me by my RL name, Anike. I haven't applied for guild membership yet, not sure if I really am up for it. I'm mostly a photographer, but am working on getting better at drawing. My style is pretty heavily influenced by dolls, theatre, and webcomics, so I tend to draw pretty stylized. Take a look at my DA page, and leave criticism, I would really appreciate it. Right now, I think I have one sketch up, under scraps, while everything else is photography, but I'm working on scanning and editing more. http://Pearlzenith.deviantart.com

I'm a wannabe artfag. I major in Visual Arts at my school, but there's not alot I can do to get that stuff onto the computer. I think I could possibly be an art f** if I could just get a scanner of sorts, maybe even a tablet?! BLERGGG. So urmmmm, I only have one leetle picture of something that I just sketched out. If you could try and imagine it w/o the golden tint please do so. Comments/critiques?
Picture
Also, is photography included in the list of things you can do to become an art f**?

er yeah sorry for the other introductory topic...
i want to get better at using CG, i'm enrolled for Computer Imaging for the next school year. I"ll admit i'm not at all very ecclectic with my art. I can't do realism for the life of me, so I'll never win any awards or be asked to join the 'special' art programs at my school. I want to get better with drawing new poses and keeping everything in poportion. I use a Graphire 3 tablet, and the Free Open Canvas.. I used to thave Corel Painter Classic, but i don't know where the disc to that went.. sweatdrop
anyway, i submitted a request to joing the guild, along with some exaples of my work... er yeah.
age
16 ( soon to be 17)
female ( if you haven't figured it out already)
art experience :not really sure. My mom says we've ( me and my twin) have been drawing since we were little though..she gave us a pencil and paper to make us shut up. I remember drawing Sailormoon in the insides of my Lisa Frank folder in 2nd grade though lol.
Programs
Open Canvas ( version 1 i think) Oekaki boards. lol
