What do you think of magic?

Quote:
The elf settled back in his chair, looking thoughtfully at the microphone. Memories seemed to be playing in his mind, and he considered each one carefully.

"Magic... now there's something every Tom, d**k or Harry has an opinion on," he said quietly, frowning. "I could tell you all sorts of things, but I'll stick to the simple opinions. Most people either think it's really good, or really bad. Myself... well, I have had an extra two hundred years put onto my life by it, so who am I to complain?"

He smiled weakly, and tapped the side of the microphone with his long fingers. "If you asked James, he'd go troppo. He got all this magic pumped into him ages ago, really black magic. Gave him horns and a tail... I don't think he likes them. At all."

With a final sigh, he passed the microphone on. "It's a nasty topic to comment on. You know, all controversial," he concluded, sinking back into his chair.

That was Gerwyn Pony, for the record.

Do you sing in the shower?
PostPosted: Fri Aug 24, 2007 5:19 pm

Luka took the microphone as soon as it was given to her, she stood up and grinned. Ready to answer. "Well, I like to sing." She told them all, "Singing was actually my profession once...So yes! I do sing when I'm taking a shower." Luka closed her eyes happily.
"What does this have to do with anything?" Hugo asked with a grimace. Luka glared at him, "Oh, how terrible! Just answer the question Hugo." She told him frankly. Hugo let out a small sigh, leant back against the couch they were all sitting in. He placed his feet on the low coffee table before them, folded his arms behind his head and grinned in comfort. "Yeah..." He said, his voice hiding a groan, "I sing in the shower sometimes. I've got a good voice, I don't see why not."
Leon let out a small, delicate laugh making Luka and Hugo look towards the grown man weirdly.

Leon stood up and gathered his robes together before going to Luka and wrapping his arm around her shoulders, he brought his lips close to the microphone. "I don't sing." He said with a wry grin, "But I do dance in the shower sometimes. When I'm really happy."
Conlan sighed, "Sometimes." He said, "But I only sing occasionally...very occasionally."
Nero merely shook his head in reply to the question.

Luka smiled, grabbed the microphone and pushed Leon aside, "I want to ask a question!" She announced, "Do you...like peanuts!"

"Do you...like peanuts!"

Yinda frowned, considering. "Peanuts are okay," she said at last, "but sweet things like almonds or cashews are better."

"I don't so much mind peanuts," Vitae said when passed the microphone, " though I can hardly call them my favorite food."

Nathan grimaced. "I despise the taste of peanuts almost as much as the texture. Peanuts are revolting."

Would you rather have yarn for hair, or tennis balls for eyes?

Would you rather have yarn for hair, or tennis balls for eyes?

Joshua looks at this strange woman and blushes a lot.

"Ya-ya-yarn for hair. You couldn't see out of tennis balls, could you? I don't mean that you're any less of a human being if you can't see but....oh...I just...think -" Joshua cuts himself off, and shoves the microphone in another character's face and blurts out the first question he happens to think of:

Do you have any allergies?

before running off the stage.

Shin leaned forward and snatched the microphone, grinning from ear to ear.

"Bakako is allergic to cats! Is very, very allergic; gets big red rashes where they touch and sometimes sneezes too! If you hold a cat to him, he sometimes screams, but if he touches it he really does scream at you 'cos his hands go all red!"

He started to laugh, barely able to hold on to the microphone.

"This one time, was his birthday, we got lots of kitties, and we put them everywhere... kittens on his bed, kittens in his cereal, kittens in his slippers, kittens in his clothes... he couldn't walk for a week!"

It's the end of the world, and they're choosing people to travel to another planet who will be safe. However, you must be worthy to survive, as they can only take a limited number of people! What makes you important enough to live?

Quote:
"I'm ******** me," Janus said, with a grand gesture to herself. "I have the booze, I have the drugs, I am me. Sumbitches had better let me live."

Iris rolled her eyes. "Right. Well, I'm not particularly important -- I mean, I'm just human, right? -- so I suppose I don't have a good reason why I'd absolutely have to go. That's kind of an arrogant question to ask someone, though; 'are you important enough to live?'"

Leon blinked, having been completely overwhelmed by a barrage of words he wasn't particularly familiar with. Planet? Limited? He shrugged, passing the mike along.

Kasume bounced in his seat. "Well, I'd have to go if Janus went, because Janus can't leave me all alone for that long, that'd be silly! I think I'd pack my stuffed animals, would they let me take my stuffed animals? It doesn't matter, I'd pack them anyway; my duck, my kitty cat, and especially my puppy dog. I'd take my hat, too, and my coat, 'cause it might be cold, you never know, and it's better safe than sorry when it comes to hats and coats. Ooh, I'd better take my scarf, too ..."

What type/s of music do you like?

Tom took the microphone. "I like the type of music that doesn't sound like a cat being put in a blender." he smirks.

"Oh right, you rely on more questions. Ummmm....."

What's your worst feature he asks, dropping the microphone, not particularly caring where it lands.

What's your worst feature?

"My worst feature is most certainly my left arm," Vitae said, and pulled the glove off his mechanical arm for emphasis. "It is bizarre, poorly designed, and pulls my back out of its natural alignment. Furthermore, it is next to impossible to attain a proper grip with this hand due to missing finger joints." He flexed the fingers of that hand for emphasis before passing the microphone to Nathan.

"How is it poorly designed?" Nathan demanded. "That arm is a work of pure genius. You ought to be grateful to have it."

Vitae held the metal hand mere inches from Nathan's face. "Missing finger joints equate to poor design, in my humble opinion."

Nathan pushed Vitae's hand aside and gave him a look of exasperation. "Gracious, Vitae, no need to be pushy. Besides which, may I point out that this interview is not all about you?" He flipped a few strands of hair out of his eyes and smiled, moving on to the question at hand. "Honestly, there's very little I personally find wrong with myself. Unless, of course, I was to bring up my birthmarks. Which," he added hastily, "I'd really rather not."

Yinda accepted the microphone from Nathan and, after a second's consideration, blurted, "Natey's worst feature is his personality. He's selfish and rude and downright mean sometimes, and he acts like he's so much better than everyone when he's not. He's a liar."

"So are you!" Nathan snapped. "And you're just as selfish as I am, and twice as rude, not to mention utterly barbaric."

Vitae cleared his throat before Yinda could come up with a retort. "I believe the question was geared towards our own physical flaws, not the personality shortcomings of those around us."

Yinda giggled. "Oh yeah. Right." She put a finger to her chin and thought for a while. "Well, I guess I'm...small for my age," she said at last, blushing a little. "And I'm kind of...really...underdeveloped. But--but Vi says I'm just petite and that there's nothing wrong with that!" She beamed at Vitae, who nodded.

Sabine held out her hand for the microphone, and Yinda cheerfully passed it over. "I don't really like my freckles," Sabine admitted. "I think I would be a lot more attractive if I was fairer."

Nathan gasped. "But you are fair! Any fairer and you would be a corpse, like Vitae!"

"Is that supposed to make me feel better?" Sabine asked, and coldly held the microphone out for the next person.

Would you ever go to a strip club?

"Like your freckles," Leon said quietly to Sabine, taking the microphone from her. He hesitated at the question, muttering a word in Serorian that may or may not have been a yes.

Janus tapped the microphone. "Ding, you've stumbled upon the only vice I don't have."

Iris frowned. "Goodness, no!"

"What's a strip club?" Kasume asked, brightly.

When was the last time you cried?
PostPosted: Mon Oct 22, 2007 2:08 pm

((Using Tom again here.))

Taking the microphone, Tom smirked again. "When I was five. I won't repeat that mistake, I assure you. And by the way, thingy", pointing roughly at Kasume, "a strip club is where people go to watch other people get undressed for the hell of it",

"Now, then, supposing some boy begged you for money. Would you give him any? Bearing in mind, that if you object, he babbles something about his brother needing something. Then again, this was during the best bit of your favourite program. So...what would you do?", dropping the microphone carelessly again.

Kisutu curled up in his chair, cuddling to a cushion.

"That's an interesting question," he pondered, looking skywards, "Although... why any person who could still be described as a 'boy' is at any play that I frequent is a mystery to me. I wouldn't let a kid near them..."

He abandoned this train of thought very quickly, however. "Ah! On the one hand, the poor child needs money and I do have enough. On the other... kids are snotty and horrible. Huh."

He considered it for a moment or two, snuggling closer.

"When push comes to shove, I'd probably give it to him and escourt him out. Yehs is no place for a child, after all."
