sighs "Ahhhhh, well. I'll have to continue on through the forest then to the next town. And hope that he left something behind." Ren-shrio diffuses the light spell and then continues onward.

"He's probably in the volcanic mountain ranges beyond the town outside this forest. Ezekiel muttered something about elemental spirits before he disappeared. I have no idea the purpose or reason he is questing for them, however. Would you enlighten me as to what happens when one is slain?"

After having sat on a tree stump, Kyo thinks about all of this to himself, perhaps he should travel with these people, in hopes of being able to tame it himself. "Sounds interesting, those abilities must be powerful indeed..."

"Of course, which is why I'm after the fire spirit that lives in these parts. I've already met with a wind spirit and he said he would give me his powers if I had the power of fire. But I only met with him because I wanted the power of fire in the first place. I had met with another fire spirit and he said he wouldn't give me his powers unless I had the power of wind. It's complicated."

"Fascinating, but I must hurry to the mountain pyre where Ezekiel will probably be. I have no use for fire powers, I can cast plenty of spell that have the effect of fire. Or any other elemental for that matter. But we must hurry, Ezekiel is ahead of us by a good amount." Ren-shiro turns and once again begins to walk through the forest towards the town on the other side.

Sci pulled out a ram's horn with a dragon carved into the side and blew into it. The sound of flapping wings began to echo in the distance.

Hiphistus slowly got to his feet and dusted the soft earth from his shoulders, a dirty root clung to his tattered cloak. He looked first around the dark dirty cave, then up at the magical trap door he had left when he was last in these parts. "Hmph" he muttered, "I guess the magic still stands firm... Hile Chiron!" A young perringo rolled swiftly to him from out of the dark recesses of the cave. "Light the torches would you" the swordsman said to his friend, "for my eyes are not as sharp as yours." The creature spat a dozen well-aimed sparks at the dry torches along the wall. Immediately, the once dark cavern lit up in a bright yellow glow. "Alright now....we must kill the man who destroyed Lemnos....Him and his orchestrator"....the creature looked up at his master, and began to tell him what he had seen...
