"Yeah, you can," he said stepping closer to her, cracking his knuckles. "You owe me a new freaking gas tank. You're lucky I don't just snap you in half now. NO-ONE touches my bike and lives to tell the tale."

She grinned.
"I didn't touch your precious bike." She said, in a sly tone, although she really was innocent. "I hope you saw him. The one behind the wall, with the knife, I saw him, and I stopped, he looked at me, and ran away, a knife in hand. He must have disliked your bike then." She said, understanding the story.
"I didn't touch your bike," She said, as the blinds to the window behind her closed, and she seemed to dissapear, and her voice echoed with, "But I lived to tell the tale!" She remained in there, in the darkness of the wareehouse, almost all light blocked out. She was silent.

"Since you didn't touch it, you don't die," Duke said relaxing a little, ignoring the fact that it got darker. "But do you know where the punk a** went, oh wise one? Since you know so much, I figure you mist know that much."

She rolled her eyes at his 'macho' attempt, when in reality, he's covering up a mistake with a smear of buttery macho-man.
((Sorry, xd Had to.))
"Where would he go?" She asked, knowing that he hadn't left the shop, it had only been about five minuites, "He couldn't be far." She grinned and rolled her eyes at his blunt sarcasm.
((I'm sorry, but this is a romance guild, eventually in this roleplay, which I'm very proud of by the way, that will occur, right?))

((Yes, eventually. Although, like a wise friend from Scrubs once said: "People are b*****d coated bastards with b*****d filling." That goes double with Duke.))
"Yeah, but he probably knows I'm gonna kill him if I find him," Duke growled. "Damn. Well, somebody is going to pay for a new gas tank, and it sure as Hell won't be me."

"Relax Duke." She said, now more in a regular tone. "I'll give you the money for it. Just stop bastardizing the world will ya? Oh, and by the way, go on back to the bar you were at, the guys'll love to hear that you spoke with me again in the same day." She said sarcastically, dissapearing again as some money landed on his feet to pay for the tank. She was gone in a second. She left a note, it read, "If you need any other favors, you know how to find me." She said, referring to the white tire tracks, which lead out of the warehouse and into the city.

"Thanks," Duke said picking up the money and reading the note. "I think." He sighed and shook his head, putting the the money in his pocket. He walked back out to the bike and rode back to the bar. He walked in, keeping his head down, not wanting to talk.

The bartender looked at him, "D'you see her again?" He asked, noticing his facial expressions were a pondering look. "Well, all but her face of course, right?"
She had passed the bar again and saw him in the window. She drove on, finding the last person, and getting their information.

"No," Duke lied and tossed the man back his keys. "Don't ask anymore questions about it, cause I'm not telling you guys s**t." he then sat down on a bar stool and order another whiskey.

((Gotta hit the road. See Y'all!))
The man sighed and returned to his business, either way, withought a word.
She hit the hay at a place on the outskirts of town, where nobody goes, the tracks faded, so she was hard to find now. The place she was stayin at was basically a shed that she built to look abandoned and useless, although in the inside, was a bed, with a blanket, and a pillow. All other belongings were kept on her person, C'ept for her bike.

When Duke was done drinking, he decided to push his bike home. He didn't have a phone to call a tow truck or anything and he could use more exercise. He took it out of park and to put the kickstand up and began his 5 mile walk home. He figured it would be well into the next day before he finally makes it.

"Need a lift?" She asked, and withought further adeu, she roped his bike to hers, and went really fase after he jumped on, balancing the two as beset as she could.

Duke crossed his arms, refusing to hold onto her or the strap that was attacked to the seat for some one to hold onto. "You know, I was almost home," he said, his voice not unkind for once. "But thanks. I think."

"It's a bargain." She said, arriving at his place.
"I wanna know what they say, about me." She said, standing up, a relaxed tone. "Do tell." She added, while un-attaching the straps between the bikes, and returning his to it's place.

"Uh..." Duke said, his voice trialing off, trying to remember. He stepped off her bike and shook his head. He had hardly been paying attention. "Um, they said stuff about how you look and why you hid your face. That's mainly it, or if there is more, I can't remember. I've learned to block out most of their voices."
