Mae stood up and stretched a little, wiggling her ears slightly and yawning quietly.

Mae figured it would be better to start early and get down with extra time instead of not having enough time, "I'd like to go ahead and start now." she answered, her ear twitching as an itch grew right near the base of it.

Mae just nodded and started walking slowly through the garden, her eyes searching for weeds or plants that might have a bug problem or other problem like that. It sort of looked like she was just taking a walk through the garden at first glance but every now and then she'd get down on her hands and knees to pulle dout a weed or look more closely at the leaves of a plant. Her method of dealing with the weeds was different depending on which plants were nearby, some she shredded the weeds with her claws and them put the shreds around the roots because they'd actually help the plants grow well, other weeds she just pulled up and put into the basket she made by holding the skirt of her cotton dress out with her hands. She kept a careful account of which plants grew where. She also kept a mental log of which few plants would need special care due to a viral infection or bugs or anything like that. The process might seem tedious to anybody else but to her it was simple, since she'd done mostly the same thing at the house of her previous master.

Mae reached some Irises, she'd never them seen before and she didn't know anything about them either. She looked over at Kosha questioningly, ""K-Kosha, I don't know what this is." she said, hoping Kosha would know what it was.

Mae nodded, "Alright." she went back to work and finished in about half an hour. She got rid of the weeds left in her skirt and brushed most of the dirt off of it, thought it was a little stained from mud in a few spots, she took a small clean rag out of her pocket and wiped her hands clean before putting it back in her pocket. She found Losha, "I'm finished." she told her, thinking she might need to change into a clean dress before they left.

Mae nodded and hurried to her room. She took of the dirty dress, deciding to use it for gardening since it was cotton and would wash easily. She washed her hands and her bare feet and then changed into a navy blue cotton dress and then went outside to find Kosha. It didn't take her too long to find her, "Alright, I'm ready." she told her.

Mae wasn't really used to shoes but since she'd been told to wear them she chose a pair of black mary jane flats and slipped them on, now she was completely ready.
