"I'm happy with my cabin, thank you very much." AJ said with a touch of indignity. He had spent the past 2 months in seclusion, and wasn't about to end that now. He took the time to work a little on his pizza as he considered the question.
"I haven't seen anyone else affected like this before you..." he began, but something didn't seem quite right.
"There was this guy... Bing, I met him at the River yesterday. He holds a certain fox in very high esteem. If anyone is a candidate for change, I'd suspect him. He's staying at the resort, if I recall correctly."

“Should we try to find him? And maybe you could talk to him about it? Or perhaps should we just be on our way. I have to go to the store, and then Joseph here has kindly offered me a ride to my current residence.”
Glaucus paused.
“At any rate, you should come back with me, and meet the others.” Glaucus told him.

AJ hesitated for a moment, not entirely sure he was ready to meet any "others." For all he knew it could end up being a cult or something. But he kinda doubted that. Glaucus seemed to be on the level so far. He decided he was just beginning to feel reality kick in... and wasn't sure he liked it.
"Bing? He's at his father's cabin, so I imagine we could find him easily enough if we asked around. But he didn't show any signs of change when I last saw him, so maybe we should leave him alone for now."
He finished a slice and looked at another longingly.
"I'm ready to go if you are, though."

Joseph could sense AJ's uncertain hestitation and felt almost the same way himself. Somehow, he would still deny that something had happened to him that morning until considerable evidence to his contrary presented itself, an occurrence he supposed to be all too likely in the case of meeting these 'others'.
He quite surprised himself when he glanced down at the table and took note that, however short the conversation between the three had been, he had already eaten half of his pizza. 'I have always been a fast eater,' he chuckled to himself. If he didn't watch himself, he could eat much more than that before he felt full; however, in spite of his gnawing hunger from not having eaten, the half-pizza filled him strangely, leaving that weight-in-the-stomach feeling one gets when one has eaten too much.
'Ah well,' he thought. 'Half a pizza for later!'
He folded up the pizza box in preparation for departure. "We can go anytime you guys like - I'm not exactly busy. To the supermarket first, then?"

"Sounds good"Glaucus scarfed the remaing slice of pizza and got up to throw out the plate.
when he returned "I'm going to get food for an indefinate period, i'm sure the native american were staying with has provisions, but i'll feel more comfortable with some stuff I know. I think i'll make spaghetti and meatballs, with my great grandma's gravy recipe."
Glaucus Went to his seat and gathered his bag. The sooner he got to the supermarket the sooner he could buy the food and then get back to the mansion. There he could take off the disguise.

"Ah... that definitely sounds good. Well then, what are we waiting for? To the supermarket!" Joseph said in a mock-dramatic fashion, packing up the rest of his pizza to get ready to leave. Besides, he was sure that Glaucus wanted to get out of civilization, and Joseph certainly wanted a place to stay... if not at the resort, perhaps with these nice (but strange) people.
He also wanted to sit down a bit, as his stomach was upsetting him somewhat...

AJ nodded, packing what he had left to finish off at some later time. The supermarket wasn't quite what he had in mind for his time today, but it was as good a place as any for now. Besides, he was somewhat eager to meet others going through what he was, so he could find out what to expect.

"Well, then..." Joseph saw AJ packing up; perhaps he had decided to come along! "My car's out in the lot - the blue one over there. Let's go!"
He lead the way to the vehicle, carrying his pizza box awkwardly under one arm and hoping to sit down again, as standing had only disturbed the uncomfortable contents of his stomach even more than before. 'Ugh, I hate food poisoning....' he thought.

{ END RP } Glaucus followed everyone into the car and they drove away. Hopefully the supermarket trip would be quick and painless and they could move on without any more drama. To Be Continued @Q-Mart
