Aka is red yes, and "kage" is shadow so the name would traslate as "red shadow."

Louise de la Valliere Kagaitsuki Aka is red yes, and "kage" is shadow so the name would traslate as "red shadow." So...why does in Naruto there are Hokage and Kazekage...so what does that mean? Fire shadow, wind shadow, etc. The first part comes from the clan they're from, the second part is just "shadow" to emphisize their ninja-ness. ninja

Shamo? Well it'd be wrong. "Tsuki" quite clearly means "moon." I even know the kanji for it. Not to mention the fact that Shintetsugan Tsukihime is called Lunar Legend Tsukihime in the U.S. Plus, Arcueid is the vampire princess from the moon. Tsukihime literally means "moon princess." PLus apparently my Japanese teacher's mom's name was Tsukiko, or rather Moon Child.

Why the hell not?! gonk Tsukihime is awesome! >.< Although, J.C. Staff did screw up te storyline in some vital parts. Well, vital parts as far as Kagetsu Toya and Melty Blood go. #1 screw up: Yumizauka Satsuki doesn' go vamp ever! D: That happens in every Tsukihime storyline. >.> ...Which is vital to her fighting ability later on. Well, unless she ever decided to go mage, since apparently she has a fairly strong set of magic ciruits.

... What? It's only the Arcuied true ending anyway, her good ending is way better. That's besides the p[oint though. YOu could always watch it for the action/character developement. Too bad they never show the seventh scriptue/Nanako though. DX That or Akiha's powers.
