So as an example of character Creation I'll make the Important NPC Septims no Ave.
We are using a system Reffered to as the Standard Jim System. In Standard Jim we roll 4d6 (rerolling ones, and droping the lowest die) 6 times. We then add the ability modifiers of the resulting scores (6-7=-2, 8-9=-1, 10-11=+0, 12-13=+1, 14-15=+2, 16-17=+3, 18=+4) if they add up to +10 or greater then the set is a Qualifier. You roll until you have 2 qualifing sets, then choose the one you prefer.
We are making 5th level Characters, you may use any of the following Books in Character Creation: Player's Handbook, Player's Handbook 2, Complete Adventurer, Complete Arcane, Complete Divine, Complete Warrior, and the Expanded Psionics Handbook. Feats/Spells/Classes may be availible after the game starts however. But only the afforementioned 7 at creation.
Characters will recieve 9,000 Gold Pieces to buy thier equipment. For this process the use of the Dungeon Master's Guide is also allowed.
