(( Sorry. I was at work. In which time-zone are you, anyway? ))
She showed no change in her expression when he reached over and touched her arm. Instead, she seemed to ignore it as she laughed lightly at the apology, "If you were really sorry, you wouldn't give us a reason to go against you, but I suppose I can't make you change your mind over a simple conversation--I know you better.
"In any case, if the others find out, they find out. That's all there is to it, but they won't find out from me. That'll be up to you: whether or not you want to risk the secret of your identity by hanging around the enemy."

"Actually, that's one of the reasons I'm here," he took a sip from his drink and then looked at her. The emotion drained from his face, too. "Why do you want me dead, and what the hell have I done for all this disrespect?"
(sorry for the short post i cant think of anything to say)

"I never said I wanted you dead, and I don't see any disrespect. You're putting words in my mouth," she said, the smile fading from her face, "If anything, I'm not telling them of your identity because I don't want any of us to get hurt."
She sighed and looked him straight in the eye, "No more killing, no more retaliating. I know the world doesn't like you, but the world doesn't like us either--we're different. Just lay low. Take it in stride, y'know?"

Seth sighed. "You don't know how hard that is to do when you can get away with killing a bunch of people. I admit when you and I were still...well whatever we could be called...it was easier not to murder...but after you left.."
He stopped talking and sighed a depressing sigh then said "Gemini, you do know were being watched right?" he said looking at her softly.

Gemini laughed a little. "I don't know, Seth? I worked with you: I know," she began, but she stopped speaking and a light breeze carried itself between the two of them, taking her words with them so that only he could hear her.
But there are two different ways of handling it. You could realize that they don't know any better and rise above it; however, you've decided that you--we--are superior: gods among insects, if I may say so, so you want to show them your power and make them fear you if they're not going to love you.

Seth looked down and the room turned black, but no one seemed to notice apart from him and Gemini. White letters rose up behind him, reading,
'No, if they don't love me, I don't care. Love isn't always a two way thing. We aren't gods among insects because we...well exept for you... can die.'
The room faded back to normal, and he took another sip of his drink before looking at her again, "I meant it when I said I missed you."
