Hikaru was frowning slightly before Kaoru came out, but the frown faded slightly into a lop-sided smile as he shrugged. "It hurts a little more from the woman moving it." He said immediately, then reached up and rubbed the back of his neck, looking down against his brother's gaze. "Why do you think?" He asked quietly.

Kaoru frowned, not saying anything. Why? Why was his brother keeping so much from him? Did he still not trust him after having kept such a secret from him for so long? Did he just not want to be open with him any more. Sure, he'd proved to be a pain... and sometimes he pushed a little too much... but he just wanted Hikaru to be happy. When he didn't talk to him, it only managed to make him feel more and more like that were growing further and further apart. "We're... twins... I can tell there's more reason behind it then just that," he whispered, although uncertain if his twin could hear it or not.

The nurse followed Kaoru to the door and closed it behind him before walking back to ther desk and gesturing Sora to her. "Now then... let's get these out of the way so you can go have some fun. I've never actually visited the Host Club, but I hear from most of the girls that its a lot of fun." She smiled gently at the chair bound girl before looking down at the paperwork on her desk. "Any allergies... food, animal, plant or otherwise?"
"I know Kaoru..." Hikaru bit his lip; some sixth sense told him that his brother was starting to get frustrated with his actions. Of course, if the older twin had looked up, he'd have just been able to see it. He sighed. "I'm sorry... its just, after chewing your ear off last night about.... about Alcy. I guess I didn't think you'd want to hear anything else about it." He looked at his arm in the sling before finally looking up at his brother. "It's stupid... but I still like her."

She nodded to Kaoru and Hikaru before waiting quietly as the nurse closed the office door. Her eyes wandered about the room during the few minutes it took for the woman to move back to her desk and call her over. It wasn’t much different than a hospital; very white and clean with many of the same high technical gadgets, only smaller, that would be found in any normal hospital. It seemed more home-like than anything, she thought. Having pretty much grown up moving in and out of hospitals, Sora felt a sense of familiarity with the orderliness and calm of the room.
She blinked, seeing a movement out of the corner of her eye, and looked back to the nurse. With that same, never fail smile, Sora pushed the rim handles of the wheels forward and glided over to the desk. The girl listened closely to the rumors the nurse had heard about the club; her brows knitting slightly though she continued to look interested. Sora was slightly nervous now, her mind already creating an image of the club – it sounded like there were a lot of girls attending there and her experience with other girl had not been all that pleasant. Rich girl especially had a knack for being judgmental toward those ‘less fortunate then themselves’ as it were.
Sora shook her head at the question, the ribbons in her hair wagging. “No, I was lucky enough not to have developed anything like that.” She laughed quietly then waited for the next question, her hands neatly folded on her lap.

Kaoru sighed, even as he carefully moved to hug his brother. "No, it isn't stupid, Hikaru. You love who you love. That won't change over night, you know. And honestly, I'll never tire of hearing your problems. You're my brother... I want to be here for you."

Hikaru leaned into that hug for all he was worth, wrapping his one arm around Kaoru and resting his chin on the other's shoulder. "Thanks." He said quietly, even as he hoped he'd be there for his brother the same way Kaoru was there for him. Hikaru was really trying to grow up and be the big brother but it wasn't something that would change over night either. He took a deep breath.

Kaoru smiled, kissing his brothers forehead, before pulling back a little. "So you'll talk to me now...? No more hiding the truth and all that?"

Hikaru nodded. "I promise..." He smiled and took his brother's hand, squeezing it gently before his gaze turned back to the nurse's door. It should be too much longer before Sora came out. But, based on his promise of a moment ago, Hikaru decided to bring up the question he'd been chewing on just before Kaoru came out. "You really think the meeting got bumped up?" He asked in a low tone, his amber eyes shifting to Kaoru.

Sora answered most of the question robotically. They were all the same. Every year. At every hospital. And she’d had to answer them all herself for the passed 4 years. Her parents had gotten tired of all the time (as they said) wasted at hospitals and school answering those same silly questions. So she’d learned to do it herself. Truth be told… Sora didn’t mind so much that she did it herself. It gave her a sense of independence; even if that feeling of independence was nothing more than something to fill the emptiness of abandon.
In her chair, Sora bent slightly at the waist, bowing to the nurse and thanking her once the questioning was finally finished. “I’ll contact the school tonight, once I’ve settled into my new home, and set up a weekly appointment for physical therapy with you. Thank you again.” Sora adjusted the chair expertly and started pushing the wheels forward toward the door.

Kaoru shrugged. "Who knows... and I don't care either way. I'm kind of glad she's here. We really weren't always the nicest when we were around her... and I want to make it up to her."

Hikaru laughed, but it was a mirthless laugh, as he shook his head. "Back then... we weren't nice to anyone. But I know what you mean." The door to the office slowly opened a little at a time and Hikaru nodded toward it to let his brother know Sora was coming out.

Kaoru shifted and moved to hold it open for Sora, smiling. "Ah, the princess finally emerges... having fought and won against the evil Nurse monster," Kaoru teased, even as he winked at the nurse to let her know he wasn't being mean.

The process of opening a door is relatively simple for most people. However, for one who is in a wheelchair and possesses a small build, it is nothing short of an exercise – both physically and mentally. Lucky for Sora, the door to the nurse’s office was opened by one of the twins, whom she knew to be Kaoru for the simple fact that he didn’t have his arm in a sling. She laughed as she maneuvered her chair through the door, tilting her head back to look up at him. “If I’m a princess… then where were my knights in shining armor on their white horses to rescue me? Does a princess have to do everything herself around here?” She pushed her chair into the hallway, turning it in a circle as if she were stretching before letting herself roll backwards a few feet. “Thank you for holding the door, Kaoru. And I’m sorry you both had to wait so long.”

Kaoru laughed. "We're here, we just want our princess to have some balls. We won't serve someone who isn't willing to fight on her own sometimes," Kaoru murmured, even as he bowed before moving behind her to take charge of pushing her. "Just as I know our princess is skilled at doing things for herself... but for now... I'd like to tend to her needs."
