Hm. It sounds lke a good idea in theory, but as previously stated, what if there are other people who wear it because they like it? ^^" I guess the success of it depends on the time. =3

Ithink the idea is wonderful, though I would miss out on those precious moments after a nice session where she says, "I have never been with a woman before, that was wonderful"

This is a pretty good idea, and I might try it one day.
I would have to start by finding some purple string....

Y'know, I know there are flaws with this idea, but I REALLY like how discreet it is. When the 'rents asked me to move back in with them I couldn't exactly wear my rainbowy wrist band of death anymore. So this is definately awesome.
For those complaining about purple string and are cheap, I have two words for you: embroidery floss.
It's cheap and has a ton of shades of purple.
Anywho...I do like this idea, and I shall do it. biggrin

String... ribbon... lets hope people consider this the same thing, because I'm aiming for the ribbon. It's prettier than yarn. 4laugh

Interesting idea, but I'd better start looking for that purple string...
Although somehow I doubt it's spread to Australia. Somehow. >< *sobs pitifully*
There was a similar thing in Australia few years back where people would wear different coloured plastic bands to indicate if they would put out, give head, etc. The Institution found out and it was all over the news, so parents wouldn't let their children wear the coloured bands anymore. For some reason, it's now fashion to have these OTHER plastic bands (they're thicker, and more elasticy, plus they have a word or message written on them, like Strength or 'End World Poverty') on your wrists... I'm betting the 'lower world' (pun intended) has already started using them for the symbols. *sigh*
But go purple!! *runs around maniacally looking for purple string*

This is a great idea. I'm going to tell my friends to do this as well. At least this way it can be spread around and we will at least be able to aknowledge each other.
