She saw his eyes well up a bit. Jean walked over to him, "Rafael, Don't cry. Please..." She said softly as she took his hand, her gently and now smooth, soft, and warm skin caressed his rough skin.

Rafael felt her hand and looked at her, his eyes foggy with moisture. "Why....?" he whispered, his voice cracking now from the bucket of tears that were coming.

She took her kerchief out of her back pocket and wiped his eyes. She shoved it back in her pocket and hugged him, "I'm right here." She said, she didn't know why she said it, nor how it would help, but she felt the need to say it.

Rafael felt compassion in his heart and returned the hug he'd never recieve in his other form. He hugged her and cried into her soldier. He wanted to die. Right then. Just fall down and die.

She rested her hand on the back of his head as he cried. "Sshhh..." She said, stroking back his hair. She let go for a minuite, sat him down on the roof, joined him, then hugged him again, this time letting him lean on her again, he needed it.

He felt somewhat comforted by her presence and the kindness she was showing him. He continued to cry, being a complete wimp and baby, but it didn't matter to him. He was truely unhappy. After a few moments in his wallowing, he stopped and leaned off of her. He whipped his tears away and bit his lip, looking up at teh night sky as he'd never seen it before in 400 years.

She looked back up as well. There had never been so many stars. She looked back at him, his eyes reflected their light. She looked carefully at him. His escence was warming and enlightening. She felt so soft then she could have melted like butter. Her eyes reflected that softness.

She looked up at him, "I don't know... Niether of us could have predicted it... It's no one's fault..." She added before placing her hand on his.

Rafael looked down at their hands. Her hands were warm and soft. Without thinking, he put his hand ontop of her hand. He brought it up infront of his face and examined it. His vision was so different now, it amazed him.

She noticed that he was still adjusting to everything. She pulled up her hand and scooted towards him. Withought thinking, Jean kissed his cheek. She let go after a second and was stunned, she hadn't any Idea that would happen.

Rafael went limp at her kiss. He'd never had that kind of contact. He was confused. But he had a strange feeling something was wrong. He looked back up at her. He put one hand behind her neck, gently pulling her into him, their lips meeting at a single touch. He closed his eyes and let the kiss keep going.

There was some feeling bubbling up within her but it didn't matter right then. She felt his hand around her neck then soon enough, their lips met and she felt weak and sensible. Although she was confused, she draped her arms around his shoulders. She continued the kiss as long as she could, she really liked it somehow.

Rafael tilted his head to the side to make the kiss more comfortable. He opened his mouth, making the kiss more romantic. He would have never been able to do this in his vampire body. He brought both his hands up to the side of her neck and continued to kiss.

Jean was enlighted. She felt as if the whole world didn't exist. When he tilted his head, she scooted towards him more and she felt her arms fall around his torso. She opened an eye birefly as he opened his mouth, but she closed it again and opened her mouth as well, the kiss becoming more and more passionate. She felt his warm hands on her neck and it soothed her.
