Bright didn't know how to reply to a statement like that. This young man seemed to be brimming with sarcasm.
But soon her attention drifted elsewhere. It seemed as though two masters were in the slave area. Now, that was definitely something you didn't see everyday.
Both the man and the woman had unfriendly dispositions while being undeniably noticeable.
Bright decided to remain silent and watch both of them for a moment.

Koshe looked as the slaves stood back in their cells. She saw there was another master in the company. She walked past him talking to a girl.

Giovanni walked around, looking at the slaves. He saw a boy and girl talking to each other and was interested in the girl. He walked over to her and examined her closely.
"What is your name??"

Jonathan laughed, then continued with the sharpening of his knife. He saw the master and mistress but paid them no mind, just worked on what would get him out of here.

Bright felt uncomfortable underneath the close scrutiny of the man, but did her best not to show it. She looked directly into his eyes and smiled cheerily saying "Hello, my name is Bright."

Giovanni nodded, satisfied with her reaction.
"My name is Giovanni. I`m pretty sure that I`m going to buy you."
He looked around for a guard and found one not too far away. He gave the guard the proper amount of money and Bright was let out of her cage.Giovani motioned for Bright to follow him as he started walking towards the doors.

Bright followed closely behing her new master. She was a bit taken back by how quickly he had made his decision and silently noted how his mere presence made her feel anxious.
Bright comforted herself with the thought that her initial instinct meant nothing; although her wings fluttered, revealing her agitation.

Giovanni looked back at Bright, finally noticing her wings."So, what are you??"
He continued to walk towards his hummer as they left the building.

Bright answered her new master cheerily. "Oh, my kind are known by a variety of names, sir. Fairies, fays, even 'forest spirits'. All basically the same in my eyes. Although, I'm only one-half of that since my mother's human."
Bright paused for a moment.
"I hope you don't mind me asking, sir, but you're human, right?"

(( Sorry, I was just disconeccted for the weekend. Lol, I had to go back and check if he was human!!))
Giovanni was starting to not like this slave, she talked alot.
Yes, I am human. And you talk too much.
They reached his H3 and he opened the back door and jumped in, motioning for her to do the same as he slid to the other side of the seat. There was a man in a suit in the front of the H3. The driver.
