Hey! That was the sound that startled the hell out of him. His gaze shifted from the room and towards the person who shouted. It was Alto, and a small bark emitted shortly after. So, Azu was close with Alto. That was at least nice to hear. "I'm afraid the portal's already closed..." He said quietly to the both of them. He took another good look around the room. "What are we doing here, anyway?"

Alto stared at him for the longest time before rolling his eyes and leaning back on one of the wooden posts.
...Great, now you're trapped here too. Azuria and I kind of hurt ourselves going in here..but aside from that, the portals gone, and there's no way out of here..
He looked up and gently bonked his head against the wood post over and over again...

Azuria had sat back down, holding her broken arm and groaning softly.
She watched Alto for a moment and then looked to Sith, "Well at least the company has much improved." She said innocently.

He blinked for a moment and looked at the both of them, examining their wounds. "You hurt yourselves coming in here? Just where did you guys land to get hurt so badly?" From the looks of it, they were both hurt, and have been hurt for a while.

Alto blinked, then looked to Azuria, feeling the need that he should say something.
We had a disagreement...and fell all the way down the stairs...also, I hit my back on the stone pedestal down there..
He stood up and turned to show Sith,
I have a feeling entering this place automatically humbles us...what baout you? Do you feel any different?
He turned back around and leaned on the post again

Azuria said nothing, once again lying flat on the ground with her eyes closed, she almost appeared to be sleeping.

"Other than the fact that I can actually see darkness, no. Or, at least not that I can tell right now..." He lifted up his arms and moved them around a little bit. Strange, he thought to himself, I seem to be fatigued... This place must be sapping me of my powers... "You're right... I feel weak. The climb from the stairs has made me a bit tired... That's not usual at all."

Well... if we can't bust our way out, we'll just have to think of another way...why won't the portal open?..

Sith walked over to another wooden pillar across the room, taking a seat and resting a bit. "I'll be over here if you guys come up with a plan."

Alto sat and continued to stare at the floor. It was silent again, and the three of them in the room not talking was becoming awkward. He looked to Azuria, then to Sith.
We usually keep to ourselves...but now that we're stuck here together...so close...I don't like this, my space is being broken..
He shifted uncomfortably, becoming slowly agitated by the situation. All there was was silence, a calm breeze every now and then. It was just too peaceful, too comfortable. He finally spoke, after what seemed like ten minutes of silence,
So what?...we're just supposed to fall asleep and die here?...is that what this is about?...
He wasn't really talking to them, more to the room itself. But all that answered was more silence. Alto sighed, and continued to wait.

He ignored Azuria's comment, and in return tried his best to answer Alto's. "Hey..." He said quietly. "Aren't we usually supposed to do something in the portals so that we can go back home? Like, beat a boss or have some sort of revelation? Kind of like a video game, or something like that?" Now that he said it out loud, it all seemed kind of dumb. "Sorry. Stupid question... Forget I said it."

Alto nodded, looking towards the window, Well yeah... because I thought It'd take me to Iyo. That's why we need to get back to the castle as soon as we can...another portal might have already opened.He sounded a bit excited now, seeming almost sure the next one would be it.
