Shiona looked at him, shrugging. "You sure did admire him. Or at least you it seemed that way." She looked up at the alley and sighed a little. The alleys were her home and life. It was a shame but she decided to tell Zephiel about what she was really curious about.
"You live in there, right? Do you ever go anywhere exciting. A kid should always have adventure."

"One, I'm 19, so you are the kid, not me. Two, yes, I have traveled many places in the montains to train to become strongwer in both magic and swordsmanship. Adventure is nice, but home is where the heart is."

Shiona puffed her cheeks up and stamped her foot. "You can be so insufferable!" Shiona then reverted back to normal. "You like your home so much, huh? Well enjoy it!" She ran down the paved street towards her alleyway. "I'm going back to what I do best, I suppose."

Shiona stopped mid-step to look back. "Whaddaya want?" she said briskly hoping to herself he wasn't as weird as his grandfather was.

"Well, for starters, I never said I was sorry. I know I apoliigized, but that was just a formality. I have rare;y meet someone who could hold their own aganst me. So, I humbly ask for a rematch sometime. Or better yet, if you decide to go on one of your adventures, maybe Rayna and myself could go with you. I can't let anybody bet you but me!"

Shiona smiled smugly. "Don't apologize! You look weird doing it. Anyway, I told you to never underestimate your opponent in battle, didn't I? I'm a good fighter!" She paused for a second when he mentioned Rayna. "Are you and Rayna friends?"

"Yeah. We have grown up together since I can remember." Then a look came ovr his face. "So, you want to finish want we started earlier?"

"Sure!" Shiona said, a little too eagerly. Once a rascal always a rascal, that's what those around her said. Shiona whipped out her blue ring and jumped back a few steps.

Zepihel drew his sword and stepped back. He charged towards Shiona and swung his sword, which she easily dodged. Then, he summoned a plant to attack Shiona. "Haha, Attack!"

This plant was a tricky one, strong and covered with thorns. It scratched her arm but it was just a scratch. Shiona threw her ring and used wind magic to spin it around Zephiel.

But as it spun around him, he simply waved his hand andd the plant dissolved back into the earth. "No such luck, sweethart. I control all of mother nature's bounty. You'll have to work harder than that." With that he charged at Shinoa and renewed his assault.

Shinoa dodged his strikes again and delivered a kick to is jaw. "Oww," Zepihel moaned, clenching his jaw. Then he lookd up and saw Rayna walking off. "Hey, Rayna! Where ar you going? Come back and have some fun. You know you wan..Ouch!" Shinoa delivered another kick to his jaw when he wasn't looking, sending him sailing to the ground. Rayna couldn't help but smile at his misfortune.
