If I can reforge old connections and round up even the mottliest of crews to man the Spectre, the isle might be home to a fourth. But that's a concern for the hazy future. Please to be acquainted and glad to be welcomed, Mr Bouldersan.

-Acually, there are several reasons for the "captain".
Firstly, most my friends only recognize this title, and they wouldn't get it if I had BosunMorganBlack, so.....
And secondly, my story is I had a co-ownership of a ship (I did paperwork....mostly) .... The Dragons Wings.... but she sank on a reef, and I am now, obviously, shipless.....
So there ye have it.....
I also have a question, can ye not Rp until you're on a crew, or not? Because looking through I got confused
-and if its not too bold to ask, Morgan, what ensactly do you mean by the phrase "when I was still among the living?"

I am from an RP standpoint, dead. My spirit is wandering the isle for some reason, causing hallucinations and oddities.
You may RP the moment you are accepted to the guild. The crews are all inactive, so don't bother.

Nay, lass, you may feel free to RP about the Island 'til your hearts content. But until your accepted aboard a ship, (of which I'm still going to sned you an invite and anyone else who'd like one) your to remain on the island.
As for Dr. Morgan, if you'd like to see him alive, visit my Guild.

Nay, lass... I don't think you've been introduced to the way provoka operates when it comes to the Ship's Roleplays: More often than not, a ship berthed in Provokan waters has an outlying home-guild that is located outside of the United Pirates of Gaia Guild. For instance, the 'Lady Washington' has been it's own independent guild since early 2003. (One of the first might I add..) Almost any ship you see come into Provoka has an outlying home-guild. It is there that you'd want to meander to if you were interested in joining. The ship's-threads you find within the Port of Provoka are mearly link pages or sub-guilds. Kind of like an advertisement, but not. Anyhow, if you'd like to visit the 'Lady Washington' Guild and see an example of what it is I'm rambling on about, click the following link

Ho there! I be a new member here to this island, and I find myself... out of the loop, as it were... If I were to want to join a ship's crew, how would I be goin' abou' tha' ? Furthermore, are the RP's alive, or are they of the same type where ya post once, and check the next day to see if yer mates have posted yet? Oh, and, where be this pub everyone be speakin abou' ?

RPs here we post and whenever we should, we post again, depending on it means another person has to respond first, etc. If you want to join a crew, check the Port of Provoka subforum and see which ships are accepting new crew members. The legendary pub is in the Island subforum.

I take it you have something in mind, but are leavin' the majority of us out in the cold for the time being? Am I not correct? As for Miss Beth Turner, if that be her true name... please see the Port of Provoka as Maser Ardrick stated previously. You'll find that ti is there you'll be wanting to scribble your name down on teh recruiting lists. The Captains will get in touch with you as soon as is possible.
