Um...veeeery unlikely I would get a girl pregnant (being infertile and in love with a boy will do that...)
But...I dunno. I definately wouldn't want to be a father. Guess I'd pay child support.

I don't think I'd want to raise the kid either. I'd give her money and stuff, but the kid would be better off without me. Not that it's ever going to happen unless I get really, really drunk or something.

AislinCade So girls, here's the big question. (Guys too, to some degree) If it happened, what would you do? I mean, you can never really know what you would do for sure, but you can have a pretty good idea, right? So if you (or your girlfriend, for the guys out there) got pregnant, what would you do? I can be quite sure that I wouldn't keep the kid. I know that for a fact. I couldn't afford it, couldn't handle it... but I don't know how I'd 'get rid of it', so to speak. Abortion, adoption? I don't know. I'd like to think I'd go through with the pregnancy and give it up for adoption, but what if I couldn't afford to do even that? I don't have any sort of huge moral issue with abortion, but I do know that it causes massive amounts of psychological, and potentially physical, strain on the woman, and is never something that should be taken lightly. But I might do it, if the issue ever comes up. (Not that it's likely to. I'm not sexually active and never have been, except with a member of my same gender. I have no desire to be, either. So I doubt pregnancy is anything I'll have to worry about -- but again, you never know. So it's something I think about often, just in case.) What about you? This won't be an issue for me because if you don't have sex you cannot get someone pregnant.

No, seriously, I'd abort. I'm not just childfree, I'm pro-VHEMT, and I should be a member but I can't bother to get my lazy a** up and figure out how to actually become one officially. If it was illegal, I would resort to herbal means, to the point of poisoning myself.
I like living, but not so much that I'd make a new person live. :
And anyways, it's my responsibility to not bring another life into the world, we need to take care of the people already here and I don't give a damn if the thought of having an abortion squicks me out (it doesn't), I'll stick to my ideals, yadda.

Abortion. I suppose I'd be phoning Planned Parenthood immediately. Throwing another child into the population is against my morals. Plus, I am not going through the high possibility of dying for an offspring I don't want.

abortion. if i just gave birth(alternative world), abdoption. if i got possessed by an evil force for 7 years & in the 7 years i got married to a guy that was not childfree & gave birth to 3 spawns & now the evil force has left & i'm now aware what it has done, i divorce the guy, leave the spawns with him, & secretly move to a foreign country so i won't pay support for the spawns, i'll probelly move to ether Japan, France, England, Irland, Bahams, Jamaica, Mexico, Spain, Italy, Australia, if i'm desparate i'll even move to Antarctica.
also i'll probelly change my name to make sure he can't find me

As others have already said, it would only be because of rape that I'd ever get pregnant. The thought of ever being pregnant makes me ill...
This isn't something I've given much thought to, to be honest. I don't know... I'd probably have to abort the pregnancy; my family wouldn't approve, I know without a doubt. But for these reasons:
1. My health. I do not eat well (being the pickiest eater on earth, I'm not kidding. I live on toast), and if I tried to carry a baby to term, we'd both probably be harmed by my lack of great nutrition. I'm also at risk for strokes, like my mother was when she was pregnant.
2. 'What happened to my birth mother? Why didn't she want me?' I couldn't do that to a child. I don't like children, but I don't want one to go through that. Especially knowing that my mother or sister would adopt the child. They wouldn't allow it to be adopted outside the family.
3. Genetic risks. My genes suck. And I'm sure some guy who rapes women would be just loaded with great genes. Riiight...
Brrr. Not a subject I like to think about. xp Too much potential for family strife.

Family strife is bad.... it is going to cause family strife when my family finds out I am serious about not having kids... you know... when I am 35 unmarried and no kids. But that is their problem... I hope to have my genetic material removed by then though. You should do the same that way it is impossible for you to get pregnant.
