Yes, he was caught now. Things weren't going exactly to plan, but then again he had come here mostly on a whim anyway. Maybe it was time for him to back out.

"You have every right to be suspicious of me. And I have every right to be suspicious of you." There is something I don't trust about you Xearus. I will keep a sharp eye on you, he thought to himself. With that he bowed and started to leave. He looked behind his shoulder.

"Thank you for your time Master Xearus. I hope you enjoyed your meal." With that he left trying to think of another way to dig deeper into Xearus.

Semara tapped a foot and was getting impatient at the young blood as he left. "Damn, and my fingers had started twitching too..." From inside a jacket pocket she had her fingers snaked around a few blades. "If I was not so polite, and curious," She mumbled a few things and shut the door then said in a hushed tone, "Ok, I know that he is just a snot-nosed young blood looking to kiss up to Darvien, but how much longer are you going to keep it all up anyway?" A smirk, "A youngling as you look can only take so much, especially on limited food. Attempt to look at your own a** if you want proof."

Again with the a**. Gold old Semara, she could always make him smile. Older than he, she tended to either play big sister or mother to him when she wasn't playing friend. In fact they often hunted together, playing the 'lost child, mother looking for lost child' game. The one easy thing about his looks. "I know Semara...but I'll pay the price."

Another mouthful of blood before he took to completely draining the guy, stopping only when he was an inch from death. Said body was dropped to floor...he'd figure out what to do with it later. "You should of jumped him sooner. He's suspicious of me and that's bad."

A pick at his fangs. "I'll keep it up until Lynx has power and Darvien falls. Why not? You want to see Thalia again don't you?" Raised eyebrows. Then he remembered. "Speaking of which I met her night before this, she tried to strangle me."

"I was slightly preoccupied..." With that very subject.

"So you think I would spare one friend for another?" The cluck of her tongue against her teeth again. "I still want to mock you." She hit his hand, "And stop picking at your fangs, or they might get picked out. and Yes I want to see Thalia again, it has been a while..." A chuckle, "Sounds like her, what did you do to piss her off? Play the arrogant know it all child again?"

A sligh tflailing done by the hand that was smacked."I never said spare one for the other." He crossed his arms and leaned back against the wall, eys closing. "And you always want to mock me. And I smelled like Adrik brood. It kinda set her off."

Silence for a few seconds. "You really miss her, don't you Semara." Now he was thinking things that were better left not to think about. PUtting himself in trouble was one thing, putting Semara in it was another, not that she couldnt' handle herself.

Semara raised an eyebrow, "Really now? Is that all? Are you sure there was not something else, or she was not drugged?" The latter comment more made to emphasize how odd it sounded. Thalia was not normally like that just because someone smelled Adrik, "She toiled over whether to leave or not, and ended with her choice, but I do not think she would attack just like that, these vampires are still hers." One narrowed protective gaze, "Of course I miss her though I doubt she would be very happy with me. I wonder about it really." She took a few bored steps around the room and flicked her head back to look at him innocently, "I want to see her, and you can go over there almost freely."

"Still thinking that Lynx is only a phase for her?" Xearus shrugged. "She had I believe an engagement ring on." He sighed. "And I believe she was very not drugged, she was rather nice to me afterward. I just had to explain that I wasn't there to take her back to her father. And she didn't know me either. Remember, I'm not supposed to be known too much."

"You won't know whether she's happy to see you or not until you do see her again." That nagging idea again and he felt the need to give into his practically only friend of the Adrik blood. A sigh, "Semara...would you like me to take you there? I'd have to come with you. If I just gave you the medallion Lynx would think you took it from me. But I am willing to take you..." Crazy stupid stunt...but this was Semara, she deserved it for harboring Xearus' secret with him.

Another narrow of her eyes, "I think you misinterpret my thoughts on the two of them, but no matter." She waved it off with one hand dismissively and smiled, "No one could 'take' her anywhere, it would not work out for them."

Walking back over behind him she lean on him with her arms around his shoulders again and with that light friendly tone, "Yes little boy, I would like you to be my cute passport across the dreaded borderline of death to see if my old friend will either attack me or hug me then attack me. Thanks for asking." She knocked the side of her head up against his lightly, making her comments again.

Despite his anger at her comment, her actions couldn't be ignored. Semara would actually get a smile and a laugh from Xearus. She knew he didn't mean to be an a**, but he was one at times, especially when he was hungry. Sated hunger now offered a more loose mood Xearus.

"Fine fine, I'll take you Semara. But you have to be careful and keep close. Blackrose fledges and young bloods like to jump as soon as you cross." He lifted a hand and picked at...her fangs. Just to annoy her, she hated it. But he pulled his hand back before he could get bit.

"Make sure you hunt before you go. Lynx said I'm not allowed to hunt on Blackrose territory, that means you as well."

Semara went to bite his finger but only found air, "Do not tempt me with your blood, though I am full enough for now." She leaned her taller form on him a little more, "So lead the way, I would love to battle some little fledglings though I am keeping close" Obnoxsiously so as she did on purpose, leaning on him more, almost knocking him over, then pulling back immediately and walking for the door, not feeling like waiting for the moment, and putting her hair up again.

"Well you have to leave his fledges alone Semara. Lynx has a weird way of doing things." recovering from her leaning on him he gabbed his trench coat, slipping it on and followed her out of the room, dragging the body of his meal with him. "Need to find a ditch..."

He hoisted it over his shoulder and looked around, making sure the coast was clear. Early moon rise, many were still asleep. Perhaps even Lynx and Thalia. "Come on." He limped as he walked, but the new blood in him was helping somewhat.

He would lead her out into the streets and they would find that ditch he needed, dumping the body, making sure it sank in the muck water and mud there. A gesture to Semara and he started for the Blackrose/Adrik border.

Semara followed after him, hands in pockets fiddling with the blades anyway, but she would have to remind herself to be good. "I would say they attack me, I fend them off. Not going to kill them or anything...or mean to anyway." She gave one sniff and looked around, walking a bit closer to Xearus. Somehow she knew that she would be ok over there, yet there was still a clear sense of odd doom because it was engrained that it was forbidden, wrong, punishable. How long had it been since she had talked to Thalia? She wondered if she thought of her anymore. It seemed so long ago.

Xearus and Semara had parted ways not long after crossing back over. Now alone, he walked the streets out of sheer boredom and the ability to do so. People watching a bit as he fondled the medallion in his pocket. Maybe he's let Semara borrow it sometime. She had more right to be over there than he did.

He found himself on a part bench, staring up at the stars and the moon. Left alone thinking too hard again. And at times he could be a rather depressing creature. Truth be told he still cried over his state of being...that was what being an a** was all about. To show everyone that he wasn't a kid. Few like Semara and even Lynx and Thalia got to see the pleasant side of him.

He licked his fangs, still a few traces of blood left. In the back of his mind he could imagine Marx going back on his word, saying Xearus went out and hunted and drank his fill. Boy would the child like vampire really get a beating then. Far more worse punishment than just a few silver bullets. Probably lock him in a room with walls and such plated with silver and then not let him feed for a week. Xearus didn't put it beyond Darvien to do it.

Xearus was content to stay out just a bit longer...or until he got his a** dragged back, he wasn't limping nowhere right now.

Xearus slowly made his way back to Adrik's. He couldn't stay out to long, it would give off the pretenses that he was hunting. Sure, his system was still full from tme meal of earlier, but he wasn't supposed to have that now was he. And not to mention he was getting that urge to feed again. He had to admit, he did feed a little more than the others. Damn body.

All the while on his way back he kept looking for Marx. The young blood made him paranoid...or moreso than usual. He also had the sinking feeling that Marx had told Adrik that Xearus had fed...instead of telling the truth. He didn't put it beyond him.

A sigh as he stepped into the building. Hated being caged up and ordered around like this. Would rather be hunting...

Darvien was waiting for him when he walked back through the door and he reached out and grabbed the teen by the collar. "Where the hell have you been boy?"

He looked him over slowly and then said, "What did I tell you earlier? When I tell you to come, you come. Immediately. I had another job for you but since you weren't around one of the fledglings had to take care of it. And he screwed it up."

A slap to Xearus' face.

You went and fed didnt' you?"
