The thing that got me absolutely hooked on ItaSaku was the amazing fanfiction "Loophole" by the amazing author leafygirl.
I saw it one day and was like, "ItaSaku? Huh. Interesting." and I went completely fangirl over it afterward. biggrin

i just like the coue, Sakura is coo doesnt deserve to be with an a** like Sauske, but his older, cooler an more badass brother who DIDNT murder the uchiha clan! (read about that somewhere)

Well I like fanfiction and for some reason, I think because I like the way she is drawn I favor Sakura over all the other girls in Naruto even though she is annoying at times. So when I want a fic i search for pairs to go with her. I started with Sasuke, the natural choice, progressed to Kakashi who I still love, moved to Itachi for some crack bad girl sakura (Loophole is the most awesome!), and have recently dabbled in Genma and Neji. . . whee That just sounds wrong. sweatdrop

I've loved this pairing ever since I saw Itachi. xD He was one of my favorite guys, and Sakura was my favorite girl, so pair them up together!
Fanfiction and fanart helps the obsession a little. xd

How did I get all hooked on ItaSaku?? Er...it was weird. Okay, It was the pictures. Those pretty, pretty pictures that I'm so fond of. Oh!! But the story Loophole {see link below} really put me into the spin!!! And then I paired him up with Sakura. And then I fell in love with the pairing.

At first I saw some pictures of Sakura and Itachi, then I read the story A Never Ending Rainfall (now called Defining Evil) by selandora. It was an amazing story and that's how I got interested in the ItaSaku pairing.

I first heard some people discussing it and then I got curious. So, i went and read some stories on Fanfics.net. Once done with a few of the stories I fell in love with the couple. Fanart also made me love em.

I used to only like SasuSaku, but after the story progressed, and Sasuke became more of a *pardon my language* bit--, It came to me that Sasuke just did not deserve Sakura's affection. After Itachi was introduced, I realized he would be a wonderful pairing with Sakura. I guess I inspired myself.....
