Here's one I betcha didn't know:
The art display that John Lennon went to (and met Yoko at): the first exhibit was a stepladder, a painting on the ceiling, and a magnifying glass. John said that the word "Yes" was all that was on the ceiling painting thing. He said that if it had been anything else, he would have left. But since it was "yes", he stayed......then met Yoko!
Is it just me or is(was?) this some kind of an omen?

John Lennon sang I am the Walrus, then in Glass Onion, he said the walrus was Paul. Then, in one of his solo songs, he said "I was the walrus, but know I'm John."
And I am The Walrus was banned from the BBC because it had the word knickers in it.
Yeah, these kind of suck, but I have more.

Did you know that Paul originally called Hey Jude Hey Jule (or something like that) and was telling his wife at the dinner table about it, but said it with his mouth full, so he said 'Jude' instead of 'Jule'?
Plus, maybe somebody already said this, but 'Yesterday' was originally 'Scrambled Egg.'

Plus, maybe somebody already said this, but 'Yesterday' was originally 'Scrambled Egg.' It was 'Hey Jules', for John's son, Julian after the divorce with Cynthia. It was sort of a song for John too...

Magnolia Simms cicc: A hole...well, half a whole, heh-nee-way 3nodding
Erm...lesse...
::digs into her vault of random Beatle bits::
That sounds dirty... xp Actually in the Yellow Submarine, Ringo did have a hole in his pocket, but he used the hole later on in the movie to get Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band out of that glass bubble thing lol. And at the end of the movie, Ringo gave Nowhere Man half a whole "to keep his mind from wondering" xP

At the end of "I'm so Tired" John Lennon mumbles something at the very end. You can't really understand it, cause it's not real words. BUT if you play it backwards, he's actually saying "Paul is a dead man. Miss him, Miss him, Miss him!" creeeeepppyyyy... Proof. there are also other songs by other bands on that website too surprised

George Harrison helped finance Monty Python's "Life of Brian" movie after the original financers backed out. 3nodding And Ringo guest-starred as one of the very few celebrity guest stars on the television show (he was a star on the "It's... Man Chat Show.")
It's a very funny piece. xd The It's... man says his usual line and the opening credits roll again (it's at the end of an episode). Ringo's like, "Well. Um. Okay then," and gets up to leave, while Lulu (the other guest star) looks confused. The It's... Man, Michael Palin, jumps up from the couch to wrestle Ringo back onto the couch for the duration of his "show". whee

Splim Julian drew a picture at school of a woman flying about up in the sky and when he showed it to John and John asked what it was, Julain said it was Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds.
And that was the inspiration for the song. o_O yup! so actually, the song isnt really about LSD...but john mostly thought "hmm...lucy in the sky with diamonds..hm...LSD...hmm...song" xP

George falls down in the opening credits of "A Hard Day's Night" (and takes Ringo down with him). That wasn't scripted. George just happend to fall and rip his suit. But the editors thought it would be cool to include it, and thus it was never edited out of the film. 3nodding

"Dear Prudence" was written for Prudence Farrow, Mia Farrow's sister, while The Beatles, The Beach Boys, and every other cool person in the world was in India with the Maharishi. Prudence was shy and spent most of the time alone. (If you don't know who Mia Farrow is, she's an actress. She starred in a great movie called Rosemary's Baby.)
Oh, and regarding the Sgt. Pepper's cover, there is a guitar made of flowers in the foreground. If you turn it upside down, the flowers spell out "Paul?".

Ringo once narrated a children's show. You know, that one about the train and all his annoying buddies? gonk I'm sure Somebody has already posted this. But what they hey.
It's too be expected that someone like Douglas Adams would Love the Beatles. He just exudes that aura, to me. blaugh

Oh, I was reading a really good Beatles book and it described (in painful, excruciating detail) the assassination of John Lennon...
Apparently the police officer or hospital worker (can't remember which) came and when he realized it was John Lennon, he asked him if he knew who he was, but John couldn't answer, so he gurgled (not funny in the slightest)/choked. sad That would have made me cry if I was a crying sort of person.
