Cutting Containment

PostPosted: Tue Jul 24, 2007 11:39 pm

Thankfully just before he left he explained to me what he was thinking, and where it all came from. Sadly, it came from his parents that keep on telling him that I won't stick around and that in a week or two I'll break up with him and that he's better off alone. That's their influence, and sadly he let it get to him. But he was thinking about it saturday and he told me that I make a big difference in his life (positive of course) and that he's just comfortable around me. He said that he was just worried that I wouldn't be happy, and all he wants is me happy.

I basicly told him what I've told him before, I'm most happy with him. Whether it's together physically or mentally, he'll always be my driving force to get up when I'm hurt or broken or down. He's the light of my life, the soul in my soulmate (ok, that was corny) and I wouldn't be whole without him. Of course, I didn't say all that, but I think he knows that because I know I've said it before to him. He trusts me that I will stick by his side, and I the same. So when he left monday, he said good bye on a text message because he didn't have any time to see me that day. And with any luck we'll send letters back and forth and I might even be able to get enough money to go and see him graduate in October...right after my birthday and right before our 2 year anniv.

I know it's hard, but it is possible. It's deathly hard to wait for someone to figure out what they want. But you've got to keep your hopes up I suppose. I'm still a little worried he'll come back changed enough to re-think our relationship again, but I hope and pray that's not the case for anyone. I think every time a loved one comes back to us it's a time we need to spend patching up holes made by distance and time. He certainly had to have loved you at one point, and deep within himself he still loves you. It's just a matter of the connection lost during the time he was away, I suppose it's got to be rebuilt. And I won't say it's not difficult, because taken from family experience it is, but it'd certainly be well worth it. Reconnect with interests shared, memories made, and just some good old fashioned fun. Maybe that'd help...although I'm not a expert.

xD; And I type too much.

The love for a horse is just as complicated as the love for another human being, if you never love a horse, you'll never understand.

Anyone in here?

Anyway, yeah.

I love getting letters from my little brother from Boot Camp. We like to poke fun at each other, with this whole theme of Army v. Navy. We've picked on each other our whole lives (as a way of showing affection), and thanks to our career pathes, we have even more material.

I miss him. What annoys me is that I can't go to his graduation. He left in June, and I don't get to see him again until Christmas.

If this is what it's like being away from my brother, being away from Stewart will be Hell.

I talked to my brother in Iraq today....that made it a great day for me. But he sounded exhausted and that made me want to cry.

I'm CC, new user name since last I posted on here. Anyways, my husband and I had a son (6 month old now) and this will be the first Christmas that he might be able to be here for with us all as a family. He finally pulled orders out to where I'm stationed, so today we figure out when his flight will get here.

Nerve wreaking as hell I tell ya'.

Happy holidays folks~
