The traveler squinted at the wound as she stepped closer to the woman.
"Can you heal yourself?" She asked coming into view of the group. "Healing isn't one of my natural Talents but there is one thing I can do. You've used too much power already."
Automaticlly her hand slipped to the pouch at her side and her eyes met the woman's.

The vines are gone... it seems that Roa has called them off. he thought to himself. He stood erect again, quickly sheathing the blade and raising his vision to Roa.
"ROA!" He said aloud. Her arm was bleeding! His vision darted around the town, he was seeking the culprit who had stuck her, but there was no one that he could see with a blade. He ran forward toward the woman who had helped him earlier. Her arm was soaked with blood, and he was no healer. His head raced, he couldn't think what to do.
"Roa... what happened!?" he tried to approach her, but couldn't. He was distracted though, someone in the corner of his eye... someone he hadn't seen before. He turned his hand on his blade.
"Who are you... you say you can heal?"

The traveler stopped as the knight turned around hold his blade out.
"Me? I'm a traveler. My name is Zola." The girl said, she looked too young to be a traveler, still a child on many accounts.
For a moment she hestiated. "And a Witch." She removed the leather strap from around her wrist reveling the Witch's Knot tattoo. Zola met the eyes of the knight and he nodded slightly in approvement. Zola stepped pass him towards the woman, Roa.
"I can help you." She said quietly and pulled her rannx, a copper compass out of it's pouch.

The woman's voice called her from her dazed state, whispering above the inside screeching. Looking to her Roa didn't register what she said at first but checked herself. Had the woman asked her something? Had Roa healing abilities?
When she saw the woman move for something out of her pouch Roa backed away. "I'm fine." SHe whispered but then Alexander came forward. Anger swelled.
"What happened!?" She repeated, her words venemous as she continued to back away. "You attacked the vine... whay are you calling me Ro-" But his face seemed just as lost. He was distracted however by this woman. Her head was foggy. Roa? Right. Roa. It had fadded. 'We need to go Wynn. We need to leave. He hurt us. They all watched him hurt us. They tried to seperate us and now they're trying to kill us. Leave Wynn. We have to leave.' The blood was pouring fast now, dripping to the ground as she staggered back.
"She'd loosing too much blood." Bregan said with a firm voice and Jacob ran foward. "Roa?! Roa, LOOK OUT!" She stepped back again, her foot catching on one of the four men's unconscious bodies. Her body fell back hard and she used her arm to brace the fall. It made the wound worse.
Screaming again, she looked at the wound. 'We have to stop the bleeding. We can't die. We can't let them hurt us.' Holding her bloody hand out her eyes glared with anger. "STAY AWAY FROM ME!" The ground began to shake, under the entire town now, shaking violently as she was using all the strength in her. Her head was foggy, her eyes tired but she had to stop them. "ROA! PLEASE!" Jacob yelled and the shaking stopped.
Her hand dropped to the side and Roa felt the exhaustion of the day wash over her body, coupled with the bleeding. It was like a heavy blanket was dropped over her eyed. And all she could see was his face. "I didn't mean to leave... I'm sorry." She whispered. "I should have stayed. Should have... stayed."
Her head fell back and Roa was out cold. Jacob ran forward first, followed by his father. Her body was limp, her face pale as always. The wound however wasn't covered in blood anymore. Instead vines had slipped from the earth and surrounded it, thin leaf-like in neature, covering the wound entirely. A thick green sap oozed from the leaves but it was covered.
"Papa?" "Stay here son." Bregan told Jacob turning to the Knight and the stranger who stood there. "Why did you have to get involved. The men will die anyways at the hands of the council. So why did you have to-" "Papa... she's really cold." JAcob called and Bregan turned to his son. "She needs a healer Jacob." Bregan glanced back to the two in a skeptical way.

Zola returned Bregan's stare, her mouth twitched.
"Don't stare like that, sir. There maybe something I can still do." She brushed pass him and walked around to Roa's body.
Carefully she avoided the vines, she wasn't sure what they were capable of and Zola was sure that they had a mind of their own. She knelt down next to Roa and met Jacob's gaze.
"I'm going to try to help your friend." Zola said reassuringly. She felt Bregan's stare and glance up.
"I'll be straight with you, I'm not exactly a healer. The vines seemed to have covered the wound but the pain is still there."
Without waiting for a response she slipped her rannx over her head and around her neck. Almost suddenly she felt her power rise up inside her. Zola reached deeper inside herself the she usually would, this required more power especailly since Zola wasn't a healer this spell would be more taxing. Grey smoke encirculed her arms and her palms hovered face down over Roa. Suddenly Zola felt the pain Roa had felt. She bit her lip to keep from screaming. Zola pulled out the pain from the wound, sweat trickled down her brow. Then Zola lifted her hands up to the banish the pain. The pain left her in the form of lighting, shooting into the sky.
Silent tears flowed from her eyes. Her breath was shakey but she knew it would be over soon.
"Thats all I can do. Find a real healer to bandage and treat the wound. But the pain is gone."

"Roa..." He spoke softly, he didn't want the other to hear his concern. Why is this woman so tormented... what is going on her mind that she doesn’t want to accept help. Not even the proudest warriors refuse help when they're like this. He sighed and looked to the stranger who had called herself Zola. She had gone to Roa's side and was aiding her as much she could. The magic she weaved was nothing that startled him, not even the bolts that were released. Stepping forward he approached Roa and knelt down.
"What could have brought this power out... you seemed so calm before." He shot a look to the men who lay unconscious on the ground. They had attacked her, and by the looks of it stolen her goods. They would not be killed now, but he could not help what happened to them by the council’s rule... this was not his domain. He looked to Zola and played compassion across his face.
"I am very thankful for what you've done. Allow me to repay you in Roa's sted. Anything that you want you shall have." He removed his gaze from Zola and looked to the man Bregan. "You have done all that you can. Please hail any healer that may be in this town other than Roa. I will have my men take them to our camp for her to recover." He stood and turned to face the soldiers that stood about 20 yars away. He gestured with his hands and five men ran to his side.
"We will be moving her to the camp." He looked to the forest line where ten soldiers were establishing a small camp. He could see that his tent was already set up and ready to be entered. Nodding Alexander about faced to Zola once again. "I am Alexander Grievous and I would be grateful if you accompanied me and my unconscious friend back to my camp."

"She can't go!" Jacob said defensively. "You scare her!" He looked at the knight with sad eyes. So few in the town showed compassion to her fromday to day but now many were standing by, watchinging and holding the men prisoner for having harmed their healer. No one chanted witch, no one spat angry words. They watched in silence.
"She can go." "But PAPA!" "As long as my son can stay with her until she's well." Jacob looked to his father and smiled. "Take good care of her son. We owe her much." "I know Papa." "Go on. Gather her belongings. Take her horse and cart with you. She may want to leave your camp right away and head to her home. By the looks of these jars..." He said picking up a full one. "Her home has been looted as well."
Without saying Thanks Bregan stepped back as his son took the pendant in Roa's hand. He tied it on a leather string, rather then the broken chain, and wrapped it around her neck. "Don't take it off." He said to Alex quietly. "She needs it."

Zola stood up again slowly. Her feet were more sore then even, like they would fall off. Her removed the rannx from around her neck and placed it back in the pouch at her side.
"Thank you Alexander Grievous. It would be an honor to accompany you to camp." She nodded her head at the other knights beside him.
That spell was even more taxing then she had imagined. What she had not told the others it was dangerous for her. Not her natural Talents, the Roa's pain might have killed her. Zola wondered if the spell had worked more out of luck of Fate. Now she hoped Roa would be alright and she was just as curiouse as Alexander as to what caused the surge of power.
"What about those men?" She asked as she followed the knights into the camp, her head titled in their direction.

"It is my honour." He stared at her noticing that she was fatigued. It was in her eyes. The normal spark that most people had was still there, but was dwindling slightly. Tilting his head to one of the knight that had come to his side he spoke quietly. "Go on ahead and set up a cot for our friend Roa... and one for our Witch friend here. They are both in need of rest." The knight nodded and replied "And for yourself sir?" The knight was concerned for his comanders well being. "I am in need of nothing. Please go and prepare what I have asked for." He looked back to Zola and smiled kindly.
There seemed to be a heavy air surrounding the group as they walked the hort distance to the small camp. It wasn't until Zola spoke up that it broke Alexander from his silence. Those men will pay for sure. Whatever consequence befalls them will not be enough. Alexander stopped and looked behind him. The three men that had been knocked unconcious were being arested by the town guards, and supervised by two curious knights. Alexander scowled before beging his walk again.
"Those men will most likely be put before local justice... justice that may be croked, but will be fitting enough for them. Harrashing a woman, let alone an elderly woman, is punishable by death where I come from... here I can not be so sure, but they will be punished none the less." He fell silent again, but felt the need to make conversation. "Tell me Zola... where is it that you hail from, and why has a wandering witch come to this small town?"

"Where do I hail from?" Zola repeated the question as she brushed back a dark blue curl from her face. Her blinked a few times and turned the question over in her head.
"Well, the last place I was was this little island in the Southern Kingdom. I had to fly across the Ocean to get here." She said as the two walked into camp, a few of the knights following behind them. Roa was picked up gentley and carried into camp ahead of them.
"But I don't have a permant home, I was born on a mountain but my family was always traveling." She said and then paused. "Why exactly are you and your knights here? You certainly don't look like any knights I've seen before."

Alexander smiled, though hid it from her as they entered the camp. It was nice to be recognized as knights in the town, good knights at least. However, he would wait to answer her question until they entered the tent.
"Please let us rest first. My men shall provided you with anything you may need." He approached the flap of the tent and pulled it aside, gesturing for her to enter, along with the soldiers behind her. When Zola entered he told the knights to rest Roa on the cot towards the back of the tent. They nodded, while the other two took their posts on either side of the tent.
Alexander walked through the flap, allowing it to fall and close behind him. He walked silently to the chair that was set behind the wooden table in the centre, and sat with great delight. The soldiers placed Roa on the cot, and brought a chair to the table before leaving.
"Now... as for your question. We are here to provide supplies for these people, for the entire country even. As you must know war is becoming a much more common thing in todays world. We are seeking peace between countries, and if we can manage to settle things in a single country, we may solve them the problems of war in the future. It may seem confusing... but it has been done before. As for our order... we differ from the knights that most people know greatly. We are devoted to divine faith and trust. We fight for the Gods, and not just our king. Therefore our duties are vastly greater than that of average knights. But enough of me... Tell me, what powers does your seemingly innocent appearance hide?" He rested his elbows on the table and his head on his hands, smiling.

Zola nodded again to the knights and she seated herself in the chair. She quickly glanced over at Roa and a small shudder went through her, she remebered the pain.
Her lips released a small chuckle as her attention turned back to Alexander. Zola mirrored his position on the table.
"Whats an interesting question, Sir Alexander." Zola lifted an eyebrow and stared intently at him, wondering if she could get a read on her. "What interests you about my powers. As you can tell, I am no healer."
This man was a knight, a good knight. That was a change. He was right though, war was common now and the knights were hungry for glory. An odd question he had asked, he had power too, Zola could feel it pulsing off him. But it was a different source from hers. She titled her head to the side.

"Hahaha... I can tell that you are no healer. Most witches that I have come across mostly have a strict policy toawrds destructive powers. Though there have been some witches out there that wear the white robes of goodness. I merely question your powers on the count that you seem very well traveled. Most people that spend their lives travelling tend to pick up very interesting skills or spells. I also noticed that you carry a Rannx with you. They tend to grant great power to those who practice magic in this world." He sat back in his chair and hailed a knight to his side. "Would you like anything my friend. We are well prepared to provide you with anything you may want."
Alexander sat back in his chair and relaxed as much as he could, it had been an interesting day. This new friend seemed to be quite interesting herself. He wished to know where she had been and what she had learned. He longed to have her kind of freedom, but valued the great ability to help others that he had as a general.

"Just a bit of food is all I ask for." She hadn't eaten in quite awhile and her stomach was hollow and angry with her.
When the knight had disappeared Zola leaned forward in her chair. Her rannx was in her hand suddenly, hanging by a thin golden chain. The sigil carved on to the front glinted for a second.
"Yes, I've hand this for a long time." The rannx swung back and forth like a pendulum.
Alexander was a kind soul, that was for sure. Yet she wasn't about to reveal everything to him. The downside of travel was that you never learn mutch about trust in other people.
"My Talent is mostly of the Weather and Wind varitey." She watched the rannx move back and forth before looking back up at Alexander. "The Wind speaks to me, it is my friend." She said quietly.

Deep within his workshop, most noises were drowned out but the constant clanging. Even in the heat of forging...attentions could be diverted to hear ambience noises which was rather the fact now as he heard somewhat of a soft knocking. Placing the large hammer down upon a nearby stone table, this weapon would have to wait....it seemed less and less that he got any vistors in this area. Traveling through his home, it was quite simple compared to the built-on workshop...still sweating and his appearance being less then good...he could only wonder what reaction he'd get from those knocking upon his door. Brushing his drenched hair that stuck to his face...those grey eyes beamed kindly towards the door as a matching kind smile. Opening the door slowly, he was treated to a familiar face and an unknown one and just like that....his large and long arms wrapped about the two people. " Welcome! It is good to see you Albeo....and whose your friend?"
