My hats off to Jojo, as always! I was thinking along those lines for Huph, but Jack-Jack's been stumping me for literally months now!

Bought the DVD today, it also came with that print studio software. You're right, the Jack-Jack attack was pretty hillarious. I'll have to watch it again. The DVD player in the living room is acting up on certain DVDs so time to make use of my neglected PS2. Ever since I got an X-Box, I hardly use it beyond DDR.

Watched some more special features last night and also most of the movie... which I would've finished if I hadn't constantly kept skipping back to see the Edna scenes. Now I have the urge to call people "Darling."

radical jojo I'm in complete agreement that "Jack-Jack Attack" alone is worth the price of the DVD. X) That and the, uh...."Secret Files." Muah hah hah hah! ......"You are as weak and falliable as your system of government!" XD I figured out Gilbert Huph's name pun. I had to wait until the DVD, so that I could hear it said aloud again. It's a homonym with "huff". As in "In a huff", to mean "upset". Also, Syndrome's secret island is named "Nomanisan". You know..." no man is an island". It goes along with that whole "I work alone" thing. Muah hah. Figured out Jack-Jack, too. It goes along with the phrase "Jack of all trades, master of none." He changes into all kinds of different things, but as a baby he's not in full mastery of his powers. ^_^ What you say about Jack-Jack isn't necissarily true. Jack-Jack's power is metamorphasis, or, in other words, he changes acording to how he feels. When he was being carried away by Syndrome, he changed into the demon because he was angry. But, yes, you are right that he cannot really control his powers, but, when he can control his emotions, he can control his power.

While Jack-Jack does seem to respond according to his emotions, his powers seem to be elemental. Judging solely from the fact that he turned into a fireball, then a hunk of metal...mind, I haven't been able to open my movie (gotta wait till easter sad ) so I'm going from memory and just from the actual movie. But it seems that he is able to use a number of different powers whenever he pleases, making him a jack of all trades...

I finally got to see some of the extras. I thought they were really cute. I like the Jack Jack short. I agree with the idea that his name is partly because he is a Jack of all trades
I also liked the cartoon with commentary by Mr. Incredible and Frozone. That was really funny

Actually, if you've seen "Jack Jack Attack," you find out that Jack Jack has a lot more powers than it shows in the movie. SPOILER! He really isn't just elemental. I agree with JoJo when she says he cannot control his powers yet because he's a baby, but the whole elemental thing isn't really it. He doesn't change solely according to his mood. For instance, in the animated short, he sneezed and turned into the fireball. Then, he hiccuped and shot lasers out of his eyes.

I loved seeing Syndrome without his mask. (I am so his fangirl. whee ) "What's the S stand for?" "Oh, this? It's um..."sitter"! Yeah! See, it was going to stand for baby-sitter, but then I'd be walking around with a big 'BS'...." xd

I saw it in theatres. It was a big disapointment to me. I found it to be way too predictable, all of the characters were annoying to me (except the father) and I just thought the movie wasn't that good...
I saw the same exact plot in the Powerpuff Girls.
