Azula's annoying, and she's quite malicious, but you have to give her some credit - she's quite smart and cunning. Even though she uses that for evil. She's a prodige and she's her daddy's favorite... she is destined to be a great leader. It's kind of like she's everything anybody has wanted themselves to be, but with an evil twist.

Azula is not menial, but she's very malicious and street smart. Overall, she's pretty smart. She doesn't need to be told by Li and Lo that she should stop hunting Zuko and Iroh with the gigantic ship. And she will play and use anyone she needs to, like Ty Lee.
In the Guru, there is that scene where Azula says they need to join forces. She does that for a purpose - she rather wants to join forces just to get out of the stupid Zutara cave rather spend eternity with them!
I kind of like her. She knows how to leave with a bang, and she's too hard to forget. If I ever ran into her (as in I was in the land of Avatar) no matter where I go or what I watch or see I will never forget her. 60 years later I will still remember.

Moonset Dreams why do you even ask this she is hated by 99% of gaia most likley. not really. she is not "most likely" hated by 99% because as you can see, some people actually like her as a villian. she's is a perfect villian so i can't really bring myself to hate her anymore now. because that is the way she is. besides the show would be boring without Azula and her 2 companions there to cause trouble.

i personally love azula... because... i get her... in a wierd way... all she's looking for is acceptance... her dad loves her, but only as a fire bender. her mom never really paid attention to her, because all her mom saw was a horrible child. She dislikes zuko because he basicly 'stole' their mom.

Or rather, my strong dislike-near hatred for her is too strong.
Her "good traits" have a lot of work to get me to even see them as such due to my strong dislike-hatred for her ^_^
As for the "all her mom saw was a horrible child" - I understand in a sense, BUT as far as I DID see, Azula *was* one and as such brought it upon herself. She trained harder and seemed to gain more acceptance by her father than Zuko ever would and she rubbed her talent in his face... So, I don't know. As far as the father goes, I don't think he cares for any of his children as more than "only a firebender" sadly... But yeah, the mother thing I shrug off b/c she deserved it ^^;; Just my opinion... sorry ^.^ I respect yours, just voicing mine ^.^

Now here, I agree. She is a "perfect villian" in a sense, but what she's done (and the way she looked when Zuko got punished - her *brother* - just kind of set me wrong ^^; )... and a lot of people do like her xD So, I agree - people like her, I don't see why someone would assume everyone dislikes her xD I think more people may like her than dislike xD

I'm very good at seeing things from others' POV, which is why I can't hate a lot of people -- but I still can't agree. I just don't feel bad for her as most of what she's done has been brought upon herself. If there are certain things I missed, then I'll change my mind. Like if they have an episode dedicated to her as a child to show certain things, I won't be able to see her otherwise; or if she says/does something as an adult. I have nothing against the people that like her or what have you, I just still don't like her ^.^;
