He smiled and said, "Sanatary has never really been a problem for me. Not in the world of today. Oh and if we are going to be traveling together and staying under the same roof I guess my name might be nice," laughing lightly he then added, "You can call me Shayne. It was the name I was born with, but if you need an amped name then you can call me Ivyn. I will answer to either name." Smiling he continued on. He hadn't remebered stating his name before so he thought it would be a nice thing to do now after the time they had spent together and would in the future.

Loa smiled "Good I was about to start calling you the jolly green giant." She lead the way into the area of the city that was considered the slums. As the city worsened her posture grew more to resemble that of someone you didn't want to mess with. Pointed at a run down apartment flat. "The entire top floor is mine by right of conquest. Watch out for the street rats. They might try to pick your pocket."

"They can try," he said with a smile. He was more the accostumed to the life of theifs and beggers. He had been one at a point in time so he knew the life. Now however his only worry was that of being found out by either the populace or the goverment. If his idetity as an Amp was exposed that would be nothing but trouble for him. His eye was shut once more and his right eye had returned to its normal colour but he couldn't help but feel exposed. It was weird.

Loa took the steps three at a time and tried to open the door. It stuck. She took a step back and kicked it open. "Damn door. Well welcome to humble abode." All the walls had been knocked down and replaced with thick curtains of various colors. There was a small kitchen and several piles of cloth and stuffing that could be mistaken as beds. Cat heads instanly appered. Ginger, tabby, calico, black, white, grey, all the colors a cat could be where present. A small voice rang out from the kitchen "Loa the next time you kick that door in, I'm gonna hit you with it!" It came from a small old lady in a blue sundress and white apron "Granny its alright. This is Shayne. He is gonna stay with us for a few days." The old woman nodded and set aother place at the low table.

Raising his hand in greetings to the old lady he smiled kindly and looked about the flat. It had a rather interesting set up and just as interesting inhabitants. There were many cats and then the old lady. It was all rather interesting. He hadn't expected it in the least and he had not been told that there was another human in the flat so he caught rather off guard which made him feel even more exposed. He didn't feel any danger thought so this would do for now.

The old woman cackled. "Are you leaving hon?" Loa nodded as she sat at the table. She waved to Shayne to sit as well. "Yeah. The flat is yours when I leave Granny. Make sure the cats are feed okay?" The old woman nodded "Now don't do anything stupid like that one time when you spent three weeks out and came back sicker than a dog. You may be powerful but not invinsable. Not yet anyway." Loa nodded sheepishly "And don't get caught by those dispicable people that live in that tower. I'll be rooting for you." Loa smiled and Granny set a very large meal in front of all three of them. "So Mr.Shayne, I ask that you keep you little Loa relativly safe. She has trouble remebering herself sometimes." Loa growled and dug into the platter of chicken "Do not."

Shayne took his seat and smiled. "She will be safe with me." With that he began to slowly eat away at the food infront of him. He was a man who did everything he could slow and gracefully, and when it wasn't slow he tried to make it fast while upholding his grace. "It taste grate," he nodded his apprication to the old lady. She was a skilled cook, or at least the best he had taste in a while. Most of his food was made by sloppy middle aged men at bars and other run down establishments. Nothing as good as what he was having now.

Granny grinned "Ah why thank you young man. Its nice to see someone who as manners." looked pointedly at Loa who had finished three off already. She froze reaching for a fourth. "Well excuse the street training Granny. I've only had a constant supply of food for about a month now." Granny raised an eyebrow. "Yet so eager to return to that life style?" Loa glared at a wall and grabbed her fourth piece. "No, not excatly... I just don't wanna be stuck in this one place my entrie life. So Shayne where are we going?"

Smiling at the little exhange he then adressed Loa's question. "I have heard of an Amp of somewhat great power in Sundri so I was planning on heading there to see at how great this persons power truely is," he said simply then he continued to eat his food. He could have been finished but he enjoyed the meal and would savor it. THinking now on what he had said he found him self holding more hope then he needed. It hadn't been the first rumor he heard about a powerful amp but he needed to check it out. If there was one out there like him he needed to find them.

Loa's eyes shown. "Really? Thats so neat! I didn't think that there is all that many. Or is it I just don't pay attention?" A ginger cat in the corner yowled what could only be interpretated as 'You sure as hell don't pay attention.' She glared at the cat and tossed a fake mouse in its direction.

He laughed once more at Loa and her interaction with her fellow inhabitants of the flat. "We aren't a people to advertise our abilities to even our own kind. You never know who is a traitor or will be caught and forced in revealing your identity to those in the tower. However there are times when amps meet and are reckless and use their powers in the open and that then sends a shockwave through our people and make us aware of the others, if you listen carefully enough," he said trying to let her know it wasn't that she didn't pay attention.

Loa laughed. "Oh boy. I can get all sorts of stuff from friends but even that kind of stuff is considered hot for them. Only Granny can even touch that suff." Granny grinned and nodded.

Shayne smiled and went back to eating and his thoughts. He hoped that he would be able do all of the things he said he would. IF the two of them where to run into a Amp like himself he might not be able to protect her and she wouldnt probably be able to protect herself. Shrugging it off he decided to let time be the judge of it all.

Loa stood and went over to a chest. She pulled out a large gun case. She started to dismantle a slight but sturdy 9mm SiG Sacuer. She carefully went over each part cleaning it so it shinned. "Do I need to conceal carry? Or is just okay to have it open?"

"Doesn't matter really I guess. If you want to advertise it you can keep it out in the open but I tend to be a more descrete person," he said allowing it to be taken anyway which she chose. He found it slightly interesting that she chose to use a gun. For the most part amps where above that in the sense that a bullet couldnt hit them for their reflexes where many times faster then a humans but then again she wasn't to powerful so it kind of made sense.
