Does anyone know where to go in Southern California to buy gundams? I like the store I always get them from but they don't carry the good ones?

Cagalli Yura Attha www.hlj.com neutral Import, lazy dude. Import. Although one time when I was outside Chicago visiting a friend I got super lucky. There was a hobby store right across the street from the hotel that just got a bunch of imported models in~ I picked up some Seed stuff for my bday.

Naturally, cost of shipping to import can become prohibitively expensive, my last HLJ order cost 6800 yen to ship.
I was however, temporarily insane at the time and ordered several large/heavy kits at once.
There are many decent retailers in the US(for shipping cost purposes), and domestic kits are usually decently priced, especially if you can get in sales. Specifically on the $7.99~$15 MG kits from amazon.com, which is the very reason I have a fair stock of MG kits waiting for me at this time. wink
That is to say when I can get MG kits for less than the cost to import a HGUC, I get excited.

I managed to get really lucky when I ordered my HGUC Dendrobium. Cost me $15 for shipping from a domestic site as opposed to ~$100 from HLJ. In the end I think I saved about $30.

It's unlikely. You would have to scratch-build it. However, most of the parts needed for that model already exist. ninja
