Yes, dear, you must surrender to the Force to make it do what you wish it to at its fullest potential. You must allow it to infuse you with life, to fill you with its power.

To do this, you must empty yourself of all other things. Envision a great forge, the hottest you have ever seen. Feed into that forge all emotions, and pain, all feelings, all thoughts...keep feeding until your mind is empty. Slowly, then, slowly erase the forge itself from your thoughts until nothing is left but emptiness. It is then that you can feel the Force pulsing through all things, then that you can see the Living Force flowing through everything through eyes of the Force itself. When you are empty, and you can feel the Force in all, slowly allow it to enter your body, to infuse you and fill you like you've never before been filled. It will bring you to life such as you have never felt it.

Only then, when you are a part of the endless flow of the Force, can you turn it to do what you wish it to. When you surrender to it, you can then control it and make it do things that you never could before.

Come...surrender with me now.

Hetzon sits and closes his eyes, doing just as he had said only a moment before. To the outside observer, the Temple Master slowly takes on a luminescence, a light of his own, though barely noticeable. To one infused with the Force, however, he himself would be a beacon, barely less than too bright to be looked upon.

Mirage listens closely as he speaks, then nods at his last request. Taking a seat, sitting indian-style once more, she closes her eyes, and relaxes her body. Once that is complete, she turns inward, into her mind. Since all that has happened within her old temple, and the fluctuating force here in the temple as well, it's a little hard for her to focus at first, but with her advanced training, she soon overcomes that obstacle. She begins to imagine a forge, the fire growing hotter and hotter as she puts more detail into the picture. She begins to feed it all the frustration she has felt since the fall of the NJO, all the anger at the rogue Jedis for some of the tricks they have pulled with the padawans, and guests, in the temple...and also the sadness at how quite her temple had become before she'd left on her trip. The council had not met in sometime, the other Masters were quiet....she'd not even heard a report from them in some time. She feared her temple had fallen. She fed that fear into the forge as well...along with all of her other feelings and thoughts. Once that was complete, she focused on erasing the forge from her mind as well. Once complete, she felt....empty...but a good emptiness. The kind that brings focus on the force, and complete control of her mind and body. She smiles...she'd not felt this pure in a LONG time, and it felt good. Her body felt so light to her, and in fact, was floating just a few inches off the floor. Her body shone as well, but not nearly as brightly as her Master's. That would come with time.

Hetzon watches as the Force flows into Mirage, making her an inferno of brilliance visible only to those who hold the Force as they do. He knows he himself glows brighter, perhaps even much brighter, though the aura is as invisible to him as Mirage's is to her. The amount of Force being held in the training room is palpable, and all in the Temple can feel it's might. Perhaps even some of the younger Padawans are drawn to it, being yet unable to control the impulsiveness of the Force. Looking to the doorway, Hetzon confirms this suspicion, as he notices 8 or 10 of the younger padawans near to the door, staring in wonder, though they do not know what at. For them, it Hetzon and Mirage appear only as Master and Padawan, sitting facing each other, eyes open. Each of the padawans shudder as Hetzon's gaze falls upon them. He can see the weave of their robes, smell the scented soaps the girls use to bathe.

Just then, Noon Bells ring. It is difficult to lose track of time when absorbed in the Force. Hetzon quickly releases the Force, the familiar loss hitting him like a sack of bricks the same as it did the first time he ever felt it. He looks at Mirage.

You'd best go, dear. You'll be late for chores, and that would not do. Well done today.

The padawans by the door had long scurried away by the time Hetzon rises and head out the door to his office, summoning his clothing and his lightsaber to his hand as he passes them. He dresses as he walks down the hallway.

When she hears his voice, Mirage, releasing her hold on the Force, stands and bows to her Master as he leaves, a smile on her face. It's been a long time since she'd felt this good, and the spring in her step shows to those who see her walk out of the training rooms as well. She hurries to the Gardens, just as the bells finish tolling.

Having just returned from the kitchens, Mirage enters the empty training room. First thing first... She sits on the floor, and goes into deep meditation, using the technique Hetzon had taught her. It took her a bit longer to clear her mind, but that was not surprising. Once in the Void, she opens her eyes, and feels of the force....of everything around her. She felt as if everything was just an extention of her body, which was exactly how it should be felt. Her body takes on the same glow as it had before, and the same effect felt earlier within the training rooms is evident, though to a lesser degree (due to there being only one person in the room, instead of 2 xd ). She does not look to see if anyone is watching, they are not of her concern at the moment, and instead she stands once more, and unclips her saber from her belt. Unlike the training saber, her's is the real thing...and one of her most prized possesions. She turns on the blade, a slight smile playing across her face as she studies the blue blade. Assuming a fighting stance, she does some moves that look like a dance, though with a bit of flare, the saber twirling effortlessly around her. She's always wanted to learn how to duel with a dual saber, but is very comfortable with her one, and the moves show it.

Mirage

All of a sudden, a hologram appears in front of Mirage, countering her
lightsaber moves with Master-like efficiency. Of course, this has
little effect on Mirage's saber, for it simply passes right through the
illusionary image. The hologram looks roughly like Master Hetzon,
except that it wields only a single blade, and the eyes are empty,
hollow. When it speaks, it's voice is hollow and metallic also. This
indicates that either Master Hetzon is very difficult to replicate as a
hologram, or the hologram technology in the Temple is very poor.

Greetings. Your biosign was programmed to trigger me to
come whenever you entered the training facility and Master Hetzon was
unavailable. Master Hetzon is currently IN COUNCIL. As such, I will
set you to complete the training excercises in the order he programmed
them for me.

With that, the hologram disappears and two holes in the floor open up,
admitting droids carrying blaster pistols in what would be each hand.
With a fluidity that belies their mechanical build, the droids begin a
complex circling motion.

The voice of the hologram comes over the intercom in the room, though no image appears.

This excercise is intended to allow you to utilize the
newfound profundity of the Force. In order to successfully complete
this portion of the training, you must allow yourself the surrender and
the connection you found while in meditation earlier. This excercise
will end with the advent of one of three things.

1)You become incapacitated and/or fall down. At this point, the
training will stop and medical assistance will be brought.

2)Day Bells ring. At this point you will be expected to complete your
assigned chores. My time says that we have FOUR HOURS to the next Bell
Time.

3)You successfully block 30 consecutive blaster shots. As you block
more shots, they will come more quickly. Do not be concerned with
keeping count. When you have reached thirty, the droids will simply
meld into the floor and we will proceed to the next training excercise.
Good luck.

The droids stop their circling briefly, resuming shortly and firing
their pistols at random intervals in order to avoid any predictable
pattern.

Horus enters a training room. After seeing that it is occupied, he moves on to another. Upon entering, he opens a small sack that he had been carrying with him. Inside are wiegthed bracers, ankle bracers, and a belt. He puts them on and, after doing some basic warmups, proceeds to do some of the more intricate spear katas with a large wieghted rod that he managed to acquire. As he does this, he looses track of time, and melds into the moment. He remembers each sparring match, and every hunt that he's been on. On his homeworld, there is only one other species for them to hunt...
