Bunny went past, yawning as she did so, Eike followed her down and directed her to her room. "You really need to sleep." He whispered to her. He hesitated, then kissed her on the forehead. "Sleep well." Then he walked down to his room and clambeed into bed. Sleep came quickly and suddenly, he didn't dream, just sleep. He awoke, looking at his clock; " 6 o'clock, I wonder if she's up." He got up and opened his door to look at the scenery. thousands of people in cells. This was freedom? And yet, the people inside the Matrix seemed so much worse off, being thrown throughout time, not knowing how, not believing, not able to belive because of their own confusion.

Sleep, it was probably the last thing she wanted to do- technically for all her life she'd been asleep. She'd been awake 2 days.. Just two measly days, and today had been the first day she'd been able to do anything, such as trainning. When Eike had followed her, she gave him a small smile. "I will. I think I could sleep for another 20 years if someone let me" she laughed, her facing turning a slight shade of red from the peck on the forehead, but she pushed it to the back of her mind- he was just being friendly. Yes, that was it. Sleep did come, eventually- but not for long. She'd been out just an hour when she woke up- the rest of the long, bleary night had been spent sitting up- staring at the colbolt blue/grey walls the cold having bitten at her skin, under the rags. She could feel every second ticking over, and over- but eventually- she supposed it was morning- a single glance at the clock and she was thankfull. 6.05am the clock ticked over- and she heard someone outside. Deciding to get up off the cot, she moved to the door, pulling it open- it was only Eike to her suprise. Tank wasn't even up yet. "Morning" she greeted meekly as she padded around deck- no shoes on, so she was being rather quiet. "Good sleep?" she mumbled out. A little nervous about today- she was going into the matrix afterall, the only difference this time was it was as a 'freed' rebel, not a program.

Eike had his head sat on the bar when Bunny came out, he turned to the right as she mumbled the 'morning' "Morning," he replid, "The question is, not How I slept, but how did you?" He raised himself onto his elbows, still leaning on the bar.

Startled by a resonably awake response she turned and moved towards him, sitting down besides him. "Oh, not too bad I suppose. You know errr.. Slept like a log, as they say... Don't they?" Bunny laughed scratching her head, unaware of the bags resting under her eyes- a clear indication she'd hardly slept at all. How could you, when you just found out your entire 'life' had been a lie.. Just a fabrication- just a computer program.. Nothing more.

Eike touched the bottom of her eyes gently; "I see, you've had more than enough sleep, what are these then?" He returned to looking out over the side of the shelf. "It's interesting, isn't it, we call this freedom, and yet, we live in cages, afraid almost constantly for our lives." He turned to face her again, "and yet, why do those on he inside of the Matrix seem so much worse off? They sleep well at night, they live everyday lives, but we have the real knowledge, the truth Whatever you want to call it, but we have, whatever it is."

"They're... Just.... Uhh.. I rubbed them too much, you know... A bruise or something" Bunny finished rather lamley, and she knew it too. She was glancing down at the ground, knowing she'd been caught out. "This freedom... It's better now that we know, instead of being manipulated for the rest of our lives. I mean, living in a place like this is bound to have it's fair shair of advantages... Right? I mean.. You guys go into the matrix, but you know just what you're looking for and what exactly is going on. You have an adventure almost all the time. That's pretty good, better than a boring office job like I had" she laughed.

He chuckled, "I know, I don't suppose you saw me walk past you did you? Every day, I would see how you were, whether the Smiths were watching you, whether you were feeling lost, I wasn't going to lose you. Everyone else, well, they can find there own way, I knew you had to come out."

"You walked past... Every day?" Bunny said a little suprised, but a chuckle followed- a small one at that. "No.. Honestly I never noticed, mind you- I didn't seem to take much notice of anything. I used to think my work was everything, and those few hours when I wasn't rehearsing, or practicing- I'd be reading, trying to answer all those questions. I suppose you know what I mean... So I don't need to go over and over again and again, and bore you" she laughed. "Can you choose to stay in the Matrix for a while, just say if there's something on you want to go to. Are there any...Specific rules about visiting the Matrix?" Bunny asked, now wanting to know- there was so many things she would've liked to do, but obviously now couldn.t

"there is only one rule in the Matrix, you get a call saying to get out... thats when you get out, thats all, otherwise, there are no rules, even Gravity and time can be broken, things that you only dream of doing, you can do!" He leant out over the parapet again. "You see, if this was the Matrix, I would be floating now. I am using the same thoughts as I do in the Matrix, however, I'm not floating, you will see when we go in."

"Wow.. You know, I never realised just how big the Matrix really was. I guess I didn't fully grasp what I was reading.. It's just.... Just a computer program. That's it. We can break those codes, and rewrite them... yeah?" She grinned as she sat down, staring at the numeric green codes that were pouring down the 4 screens where Tank usually sat. "So.. When do we go in?" asked the rather curious girl, a smug grin playing on the edges of her mouth as she glanced at all the gear and things ready.

"Your rather eager, ah well, I'll go get tank, and we'll show you." He walke doff and returned with a bleary-eyed Tank, who sat straight down and starteed tapping on the various keyboards sat around him. "The entry procedure is quite simple, Tank?" Tank jumped off his seat and Eike sat in a chair with some moniters around him, each displaying a different charicteristic of his body, brain patterns, heart, neurons, stability, it was all on there. "You see that plug in the back of your head, that is how we get into the matrix." Tank plugged Eike in, Eike winced slightly, "even now it hurts. Now, you have to relax, close your eyes and you will open them inside the Matrix. Wherever Tank has decided is where we will go." He relaxed, closed his eyes, and his brainwaves chaged slightly, they became active, even thought he wasn't moving. Tank looked at Bunny, "He's now in the Matrix, waiting for you. Sit down please." He plugged her in, and he slipped into the realm or the Matrix.

"Oh... Oh god, I didn't mean to wake... Oh... oops' Bunny said, mumbling the last bit of the sentence. Yes, she was very, very eager to head into the Matrix- this was what she'd been waiting for, but she didn't want to have to put people out of their way just to get going. "I'm sorry Tank" she said wincing as she watched the sharp needle being inserted into the hole in the back of Eike's head. 'Yeah.. It looks as though it hurts... " she grimaced as she sat back. "Well.. I guess the Matrix will never stop waiting, so let's go" she beamed, gently laying back into the chair- knowing that in a split second, a jolt of searing pain would come, and then she'd be in the Matrix. It was over before she realised it- she opened her eyes- and there she was, decked out in black, the sunglasses and all. "I thought the sunnies were only in the movie' she laughed looking around for Eike. "Is this it.. No one else comming?"

"It's just you, and me, and the Artifitial Intelligence that is watching our every move. Come on." He picked up the ringing phone and answered it. "Tank, we're in." He put down the phone. "Do you feel it? The matrix, it has an air about it." He walked out on to an open balcony, looking over Manhatten, a city, just getting off the ground, a beautiful sight. "It's all fake. Right," he said, turning to her, You wanted to see the matrix, grab onto my neck."

"Well, to be honest. It really doesn't feel that much different to what it was like... Before, apart from the fact that I know the truth now" Bunny added with a shrug. "I mean, I could simply walk into that Thai takeaway place down the road" she said pointing at a small cafe just down the road- which she could see from the balcony. "I could order what I always ordered, and it would still taste the same.. Right? So.. What's so different?" she asked confused before shaking her head. 'Sorry. .I might as well stop these questions shouldn't I?' Bunny laughed and took a step back, raising a brow- her blue eyes staring at him, questiongly- "Your neck? hold onto... Your neck?"

I've completely let go of most of my knowledge of rules in this place, hit my neck, it won't hurt. I don't feel pain in here. Besides, I was only going to show you the Natrix from a different point of view, unless you can break gravity." He turned to her inquisitively, "Can you?"
