Also, because didn't Lanfear also feel the weave, that is to say that she felt the Air binding her hands and feet? Doesn't that give you a good guesstimate as to where the weave is? (Or was she in a cage? But she could've still felt it)

If you're channeling Saidar... he might be able to sense that you're holding the source or channeling, but how can he see the threads you weave? Slashing blindly in the air? Well, Lanfear cut Rand's weaves with ease, back in Tear. So, a trained channeler can do it. At least in AoL, they could. Yes, but he has yet to even channel? confused And what experience does he have at all? *BLIND SLASHING** Maybe he is LTT reborn? You never know...

It seems reasonable that the Chosen ones can do things simple as that one...
