xmkatx Have you seen the OAVs? Where Kenshin was all badass? The art and music is 100x better than the TV series, too. I HIGHLY recommend it. It's not comedic like the TV series, it's more melancholy and dark. Kenshin was annoying because of the ways he would win. In my mind, Soujiro won that battle. Kenshin likes to psychologically inflict damage on his opponents so that they lose their focus and end up losing the battle. Yeah, I actually saw the OAVs before I saw the actual series and I didn't mind Kenshin at all there. He was so cool. The music is amazing (War of the Last Wolves, Shades of Revolution, A Boy Meets The Man) and the art is top-notch as well. The story was great also. Megumi (from the series) reminded me of Tomoe at times. Plus, I loved those ninjas he fights in the snow. xd And for the record, my favorite RK villian was Shishio. Although it really annoyed me how easily he kicked Sanosuke's a**. xmkatx I guess Recca was my first ninja anime. I didn't like when they changed the animation somewhere in the middle of the series. I might try reading the manga. Oh yeah, the art really crapped out in the later episodes when they're in the final tournament. So annoying. The only manga I read is GTO. biggrin I've bought all of them and I'm eagerly awaiting the next one, volume 20 I think.

bryan smasher I'm dying to see it with commentary. You know what's weird, there was a commentary break when I wasn't expecting it on the DVD. It was during a real boring part in the movie, anyway. The best part was when some guy, I'm assuming the director, went out and tried to sixstep. It's great because he's not a bboy but he tried. That's all that matters.

I saw "The Butterfly Effect". It was decent until Ashton Kutcher showed up. And it's not even that he's a horrible actor, it's just that whatever he does now, I'm always going to think of any character he plays as Michael Kelso.
Also, Hellboy. Really nice character and set design. The fishman's voice kept making me think of the Simpsons.

Megumi is my favorite female character in the Kenshin series, the only other girl I like is Shishio's geisha.

Kenshin is a cheater. That's why I like Sanosuke... he loses a lot but he never cheats. 3nodding

Megumi was ******** hot.
I just saw The Dangerous Lives of Altar Boys. Awesome movie! The second time I've seen Jena Malone involved in a religious film. I liked Kieran Culkin better in this film.

I saw The Dangerous Movies of Altar Boys when I stayed at my sister's place for a while but for some reason I don't remember anything from it. stressed Yumi (geisha) was probably the hottest character in Kenshin. I also liked that ninja that showed up late in the series when the European knights came to Japan.  xd

He took crap from no one. 3nodding Oh yeah, I definitely loved Saitoh, especially that awesome move (forgot the name, it's been a long time). Saitoh vs. Sano was one of my favorite battles. I remember even seeing yaoi doujinshi with them. I also had a crush on Seijiro Hiko, Kenshin's master.
