temari would completly fit in at leaf there's sakura, hinata, ino, tenten, tsunade, etc. there are so many girls that she would totally have fun with

ah yes good point.. but... if they loved eachother, they wouldnt let that happen. plus the siblingss from the sand save the leaf village ninjas, temari and shikamaru start flirting!! no lie!!!

St.Ladybug ah yes good point.. but... if they loved eachother, they wouldnt let that happen. plus the siblingss from the sand save the leaf village ninjas, temari and shikamaru start flirting!! no lie!!! yeah. biggrin

Distance would be a problem - but who says they have to be in one village all the time?
They could shift from the two villages - 6 months in Konoha, 6 months in Suna or something like that. It could be a sort of 'keeping up relations' mission.
And, as far as that goes, both are shinobi and are rather busy on missions. I have a feeling they don't stay in the village much anyway. I really don't see either one ever really leaving there village. Shika just received his "will of fire" from Asuma and Temari's brother is Kazekage and she's rather protective of him.
Plus, it only takes 3 days to get to Konoha from Suna - not that big a deal really. I mean, spend a few weeks here and there. Who knows. Far fetched but possible.

they'll get married but might visit eachother a lot they might not live 2gether
intill they retire or sumtin
I know shikamaru wanted a wife, retire, liv with wife, have a kid, and yeah
hahaaha who knows wat will happen
thats wat makes it exciting ^-^

All good romance stories need a conflict, but I don't think that would involve entire villages. There'd be some definite tension there. Oh, and if they found out Temari was gonna have a baby:
Shikamaru: eek Y-you're what?
Kankuro: gonk Oh, please, anything but kids . . .
Gaara: scream YOU ARE DEAD, SHIKAMARU!!!
