The Police didn't know it was Blondie in that van. The police had the van come to a stand still and walked to the diver side window.

Blondie rolled down the battered window, and peered out, straightening her glasses. The police didn't seem to recognize her, thank God. If they had, she was definitely in for a shooting game.
"What's the trouble, officers?" She asked, in her silkiest, most manipulative voice. "We're not doing anything wrong, are we?"

Mark held the rifle as best he could on his right side, hoping no one would see it. And as far as he could tell, no one could. IN the back of his head, he heard Target saying,'We're gonna be fine, Mark, we are gonna be alright.', to which Mark replied,'Just you wait man... just you wait...'
