This sounds fantastical! o_o (so fantastical, mind you, that I need to make up a word.) So, let me get this straight. Each guardian has to pay 5k in order for their FeeDee/Legend to be entered in the contest, so to speak. Then people can donate extra to the overall contest or to the prize money of an individual character's catagory... right? *-*;; excuse my confusion.

so i'm going to try to donate about 20 million to this contest... hopefully i can get most of it in gold
... er...
i went over to the fae contest, and that ended in total disaster...
i guess i'm bringing up if we should have categories at all? or maybe we should have a list of judges and short descriptions of what they like? [or is it bad to list judges??]
i'm just trying to figure out how to avoid what happened in the fae contest...
i'm also against an "ammeture" category... i feel that something like that can't be properly accounted for on the internet.
also i'd like to bring up writing? should we include written entries for this contest?

@Raya: Of course! We accept any and all donations, ^0^. The more, the grander the prizes, and the higher likelihood of quality entriants.
@Cheshy: I .. saw that too, >>;. Can't say I wasn't amused, but I certainly wouldn't want to be in the middle of it. I'm all for anything out of the ordinary and unconventional, however, so what you're saying sounds intriguing.. blurring the lines between catagories might also create more problems than it solves ): People could say we gave prizes for suchandsuch a reason and that, ohhh boohoo it's not fair you should've made a prize for mine, etc.etc.
I'm all for written entries! I think when we come around to writing short profiles to showcase all of our characters it should specify if the guardian is willing to let someone try their hand at writing their character. I know I'd be all for it, since I looove fresh perspectives of my characters, but others might not be so willing (: -nods-

If I had the funds for an individual category, it would definately be for a written piece :3 Ice Queen Ahh, good good. Then add a fic to the big contest and one to the Walter Art competition^^ *0* An Ice fic?! Now I know I'm gonna try for that heart

If anyone has suggestions as to means by which we can raise money, too, we'd be glad to hear of it, ^^.

We could do a mini-shop, except fill it with items that people actually want, instead of Fa'e themed panties...
Like blankets and bottles and plushies and art kits and hand bags and fancy shoes and maybe some brownies, cause I'm hungry...

okay here's another idea... a themed auction?? like i know it's Legend and FeeDee... but what about some kinda theme or something? maybe fishies... i <3 fishies... or something silly @3@...

*Pokes the best pair section* I was thinking that instead of just a Walter competition I might go in for the "Best friends/pair" catagory and hope for some Walter/Xana pics. By the time they're kids I'm pretty sure they'll be serious best buds. *loves rp'ing with Cake*
So is it possible for us to take an interest in a specific category instead of an individual contest?

I wouldn't group all contests with what happened in the fae one.
Personally, as a fae owner (whom is lately a bit scared of her own comunity), I've noticed that drama tends to follow fae where ever it goes and whatever it does. So I wouldn't necesarily say that your own contest is in jeopardy in the least.
I've seen many a contest and my friend, Mizukori ran one of her own, categories and all; it was very big, and it turned out just fine. <3
As far as judges go.... .uuuUUuUuuh.... for some odd reason I would not point out whom the judges are and their tastes. I think that might bring up problems << >> people's minds are ..... twisted.

That's a relief, I'd say, ^^. I'm hoping this runs as smoothly as the Feedee has ever run~ We have a great community here and I believe that with the proper planning and execution, this contest can be magnificent. domokun
