by the same logic, Kabuto is like 20 but Orochimaru is like 50 or 60 yet they get paired. Age doesn't seem to be as much of an issue in fanpairings *shrugs*

I agree. There are some characters I have trouble dealing with in fanpirings. Orochimaru is one, Gai-sensei is another. You know what I mean? I only made the comparisson for the sake of discussion.
