Rvaya Dr Yuya paradoxical Personally I think this is being taken way too seriously.. Either you like Spike, or you don't, it's as simple as that. Fangirls have their reasons for liking them just as people like Dr. Yuya have their reasons for not. It's all, just like most things, a matter of opinion. People who don't find him the greatest character don't need to be bashing the girls that do (whatever their reasoning may be for liking him..) and vice versa. Just about every guy (or any character on Buffy for that matter) has their faults, why we're taking so much time picking apart one of them doesn't seem too logical to me.. Yeah, I don't really care much anymore. There seem to be a few fangirls here, not not as many or as die-hard as the typical fan-girl who makes me feel like vomiting every time they mention how great Spike is. That's what turned me off in the first place anyway. I mean, if everyone loved Dawn because they thought she was mature and stable, wouldn't it just make you kind of wonder why? Same with Spike. People seem to love him for all the wrong reasons, and no matter what happens, his fan-girls make him the hero in the end. Dawn, Mature and Stable! Pah! Laughable! She is one messed up little girl. She pissed me off so many times in season 6 stressed And Will and Tara...I'm sorry to say (because I know I'm gonna get flamed) I hated that couple more than any of the others. whee Not cause they were lesbians I just hated them together. Tara I didn't think she added anything to the show *acting wise* *hides under the couch* eek Hiding was a good idea, you're just lucky I'm too braindead right now to come up with an intelligent evil response gonk

LOL, I'm not a mean person it's just Tara and the three bad "kids" *season 6* (forgets their names right now) added nothing to the show to me stressed If anything could have gone it would have been them.

Actually, they did. Tara's death-for which she had to be there in the first place-got Willow all dark-Willow, and powerful. Tara got Willow powerful. Warren killed Tara. If Willow hadn't gotten powerful, she wouldn't have been able to pull off the big magic in the series finale. Warren on his own wouldn't have been much; adding Andrew and Jonathan, however, worked. Andrew ended up being a semi-important character in the last season, and Jonathan aided in that.

I'm saying I didn't enjoy Tara's acting abilites. I understand how she fits into the story but I think they could have gotten a ten times better actress. And the little guys they felt...er... I can't explain. Both them and Tara I think could have been written better. stressed

Although I do agree with Rvaya, as I don't think she added much to the show. All she ever really was was Willow's lesbian girlfriend. Yes, she did affect how Willow acted and changed as a person, but the character herself didn't offer much. She didn't have interesting quirks, or set goals, or anything like that. She just wasn't a very interesting character. Well, to me, anyway.

Anya added much more to the story than Tara ever did. 3nodding I mean there is like one episode that's really about Tara and even then it doesn't get very indepth. Shes just kind of a filler. Where as Anya you got to understand her personality, who she was, how she loved Xander, her past etc.

Yay for debate! wink Very yay! whee I can't decide...more fun to debate with someone who actually has more than five braincells... Or is it more fun to debate with someone who has less than five braincells, but thinks they're Einstein? Oh, the fun-ness that is seeing someone make a fool of themselves.

I don't really like him all that much. I don't hate him, and he's good in a few episodes, but other than that I could really care less if he was present or not. I liked him much better back in season two, when he wasn't pretending to be something he's not. I like evil Spike, because that IS Spike. However, I also like dorky William, who likes to write poetry and is in love with his mother. xd
Now Angel I'm not in love with either, but I think I like him more than Spike. Because, for reasons stated in the very first post, he has a soul and he's sorry about all the people he killed. He's trying to make up for it. Spike has a soul, but he's only sorry about what he did to Buffy. He fights demons because he likes kicking a**, not because he wants to make up for what he's done. I'm not saying this is exactly a *bad* thing. If Spike was sorry and started fighting against evil because of it, he'd just be another Angel. They went far enough giving him a soul anyway. I see how it was eventually good for the storyline, but he didn't deserve one.
With the exception of a few good episodes, I wasn't all that impressed with season seven anyway. The middle seasons, in my opinion, were by far the best ones. The last season of Angel was pretty good. Better than the last season of Buffy, anyway. But there's a conspiracy where all my favorite characters must die. Oh well, it's over now. They live on in my DVD collection. xd
