Updates of the Day:
New front page! Re-did the front page layout, let us know what you think! Banners are all made by myself, brushes used are linked out on the home page of the guild. If you would like to suggest an event or a link please PM chels chels with the full details! ^^

"A new crisis of faith..." thread has been moved to "about me". It is no longer a "crisis" as it was solved ages ago, but as it is an excellent place for people who are or have gone through something similar, it was decided to keep the thread. It was moved to the proper forum, so please head there to get advice or share advice on this topic and keep the discussion there flowing.

A notice to all members:
We do not tolerate threats here, if the threats and your previous behavior are perceived as problematic, you will be instantly banned from the guild. You may, of course, contest this banishment, but pending your behaviors at the guild - it is unlikely we would overturn our decision.
If you are going to argue here, do so without threats and without the, "I'm right, you're wrong. Screw you if you don't agree with me." attitude. This attitude will get you a warning. If you want to debate, concede points and make counterpoints.
As such, there is a new rule.
"Threatening people, in a way that multiple people [this must include a mod], will result in a warning and/or instant banning. The length of this ban will be decided upon by the leaders."

What is allowed:
+ Person above you threads
+ Contests
+ Discuss games
+ Avatar Rating

What is not allowed:
+ Just saying good morning.
+ Posting lots of pictures, saying it's "just for fun".
+ Discussions about nothing.
+ Spam. [Nonsense. Things that don't relate to the discussion at hand. Bumps. Just emoticons.]
+ Things that don't relate to games, contests, avatar rating, tektek creations, and the like.
Minishops, Quests, Charities
What is allowed:
+ Your Gaian shops.
+ Your quest pages.
+ Your charities or giveaway threads.
What is not allowed:
+ Linking to your quests, shops, or charities in your own topic.
+ Anything that is not a shop, quest, or charity.

Polls Only:
What is allowed:
+ General discussion. You MUST have a poll in each thread. No poll = a warning!

Spells & Otherkin
What is allowed:
+ Sharing of spells. But, you must put a disclaimer, saying where you got it from, possible backlash, and the expected results of the spell.
+ Requests for spells.
+ Discussion on Otherkin.
+ Otherkin, familiars, etc.
+ Discussion on ghosts and spirits.
+ Sharing of rituals. Again, with the disclaimer that posting a spell requires.
+ Holiday discussion.
+ Discuss spellcraft and 'magic'.
+ Discussion of psionics.
+ Discussion on divination.
What is not allowed:
+ Requiring sources, examples, and proof [unless giving a spell or ritual, then you MUST provide the source]. This is not extended discussion.
+ Spam.
+ Spells and rituals designed to cause serious harm to another being or require a physical sacrifice that is endangering another.
+ Don't suggest someone speak to a being they don't understand, know, or have it's consent.
+ Be careful of naming spirits, demons, ghosts, etc. as that may invoke them and leave them with the desire for revenge.
+ Creating topics to post your own spells. Use the BoS for that!
Extended Discussion:
What is allowed:
+ Debate
+ Research topics
+ Discussion where you expect sources, debate, etc.
+ Disclaimers, sources, proof, and intelligence.
What is not allowed:
+ Flaming or trolling.
+ Refusing to cite sources or give evidence to back up your opinions and points.
+ Saying, "Well, it's my opinion." This is a debate forum. Opinions mean nothing here unless you have something to back you up.
"About Me"
What is allowed:
+ Introductions in the introduction thread.
+ Personality quizzes.
+ Discussion about your opinions and points of view.
+ Discuss your path and why you chose it.
+ Things about your life.
What is not allowed:
+ Creating your own introduction thread.
+ Threads requesting advice or help. They have their own forum. Use it.
Spam Away:
What is allowed:
+ Nonsense.
+ Posts of just emoticons.
+ No discussion.
+ Topics about absolutely nothing.

+ Yelling at people for sources, this is spam, not extended discussion.

There is now a new rule of Respect. Before the rule was respecting other's opinions, but due to recent events, we have decided to make a rule on respect in general.

Updates!
[+] Front page has been updated, new layout with new graphics is forthcoming.
[+] Teh Zan has been made a moderator within the guild.
[+] Many threads have been moved. Some have been moved to the Recycle Bin, others to appropriate subforums.
[+] Polling subforum has been removed. It serves no real purpose. xD;;
[+] Questor and Exchanger Freedom has also been removed. It never gets used, anyway. ^^;

Updates!
[+] Thread moving has been finished. The Learning Center is now unlocked for use!
[+] Have finished going through the member's list, all people who haven't logged into Gaia for one year or more were removed, and those that hadn't logged into Gaia for 6 months and had never posted here were also removed. A mass PM will be sent out in the next week or so to re-invite everyone back to the guild.
[+] Summer event is in the works, go to the REVIVAL thread to give us your input!
