Cannibal_92 in the second sequel the cenobites all die from the cenobite doctor, do they ever come back and how? I noticed the "chatterer" was just a child whats up withy that? I don't really think they die, so much as they get "demoted" and most likely sent to their own hells. Of course there is always the chance for escape, Pinhead does during Hell on Earth and is eventually sent back to Hell where he is promoted once again to full cenobite status. At that point, he gets new cenobites, and they seem to change pretty frequently..there is some debate as to the chatterer, most likely it isn't the same one as the original..but rather some guy with the same kind of "deformity". I don't think it's ever addressed.

Kaiya_for you do you know when the new ones are coming out?? also pinhead rocks! biggrin I thought that the plot to the first movie could've been better, but my favorite character was Pinhead, almost all the other characters in the movie were pretty terrible.

I'm a rarity in the Hellraiser fan universe...I hated Hellbound, it's pretty low on my favorites list. It felt too much like a monster vs. monster flick...don't get me wrong...I dont hate it. Just don't rate it as high as my favorites, my first being the original, my second being Inferno or Deader...

I really must see it then. I think if the second movie has a better plot I will end up loving it, because I was pretty glued to the first movie.

Cannibal_92 my cousin said one of the hellraisers is set in space what is up with all these horrors going to space? Bloodlines stretched from the time that Lemarchaund was commisioned to build the puzzle box for a nobleman, who was into black magic. (Extremely different from the monster that Lemarchaund was originally depcited as in The Hellbound Heart.... Anyways it stretched to the modern day (the 90's at the time) to an ancestor named John Merchant. John was coerced into building yet another gateway for Leviathan, but was killed when he resisted....then fast forward hundreds of years into the future where another heir to the Merchant curse (dreams of Cenobites and how to destroy them) Actually figures out a way to destroy the box and Pinhead... It wasn't quite as cheesy as Jason X or Leprechaun in space...but it wasnt my favorite story.

I didn't see Hellraiser until just a few years ago. I just never came across my radar. It was actually a pretty good flick.
I saw part 2 last year when it was on AMC, and I think it was better than the first.
I saw some of part 3 when it was on Spike tv a couple years ago, I guess I need to rent it and watch the whole thing.
Hellraiser 4 was good, I watched it ondemand, I liked the massive puzzlebox ship.
