I don't know what I should post, so I thought maybe I would post one entry from my diary. I edited some parts though. This is not exactly recent. You might not understand some parts though. After all, it IS my diary.
Death. The word has come to mean many different things among the various races and cultures of this planet called Earth. Some believe in the start of an “afterlife”. Some believe in reincarnation. Some believe in oblivion. But to all, it is the absolute statement of an entity’s existence, the ultimate end of sentience. Until recently, I never would have realized the importance of such a simple word.
For the past year, instances of death have been looming about me. This phenomenon has been rare in my life, and if I live a hundred years, I fear that this will change. This is a fact to lament, since most of the acquaintances I’ve made in the past few years, I’ve come to call them either friend or family. It is an irony though, that one only gets respect after death, and it could never be more true. Seeing is believing.
Since the time that my grandfather was divorced with granny, I’ve never met him. And that is, since I was born. My mum, she went to visit him once every year. My uncle, once every month. My grandma…. I don’t know how long she hasn’t seen him. However, since the last few days of his funeral, such enmity between him and my grandma seemed to dissolve altogether. Instead, she feels regret, feels sorry, for the past many years when she never bothered to visit him.
I see sadness in death, and I see happiness. Many a times I have seen tortured, tormented souls seek sanctuary through death. It is the easiest escape, the simplest route to walk away from life. Alas, never have I seen anyone who does not fear death. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but there is no beauty on death. It is the dying flame, the last breath, the final curtain. It is The End. Or is it not? Is there life after death? In the faultless paradise, Heaven? Or the burning abyss of Hell?
Yet, who determines paradise? Is it the infallible, impeccable, perfect being, God? It is said that in heaven, it is the perfect happiness. But what is perfect happiness? Isn’t what humans find happiness from normally a vice? Money, alcohol, drugs, carnal lust. What man prefers is usually something evil, is it not? Who is the one that defines an act as evil?
So many questions, yet none have I the answers to.

The idea is that there would be perfect happiness because we wouldn't desire the things we did before; therefore no evil acts; no destruction, etc.
And as far as what decides what is evil and what is good, it is your conscience. THe only thing is, some people may have better morals than others. And I won't go into what the conscience is; people will just hate me then. sweatdrop

=_=....
Anyways, I rather not go big on the death thing, even though it seems to be the dominating subject of Piguren's post. I just want to say..... Bring it on, Death xP. Seriously~ I am not afraid of death, just the means of getting to it. x3 But I guess you can just assume right there that I've never been to a real life-or-death situation, so you're going to assume I will be afraid of it once I actually meet death in the eye. =p Believe what you want, I am just sticking to my statement, means of death, not death itself. T.T

SLAM into the hearts of fear of the world. And WOE! WOE will they be and morne shall they act. Morne and CRY and CRY at all times! DEATH! death hast been, death has to be, death is to come! INDEFFINATLY! undeniable. STRIKE into the heart of fear, for CHANGE is to come. After and before death, is change and change in the FACE of yourself. everything about you and around you, SHALL CHANGE. FEAR in our heart for fear has created change. for we fear death. See before your self. have thoughts, perspectives, outlooks on life. Have they not changed? YOU IMPERGMIBLE FOOL! SEE BEFORE YOUR WAKING EYES OF NEW LIFE! DEATH AND LIFE ARE INDEFFINATE! walk in the valley of the shadow of death. WALK IN THE CITY OF LIGHT IN LIFE! MY LESSON TO YOU! STOP looking forward negatively to death, unless by some unsuspected cruel twist of fate are you taken, DEath is truely more afraid than you and me, it is completetion! completing life whether fair or not, your chance has been down, past is your past, dwell apon it, then never return, you shall die in your past then instead of in the future. LOOK APON YOURSELF! your chance to change has not drifted out of reach! youll be ok..... just dont give up.... just dont let the fear of change or sin dominate you!...... just hold... on......
O________O dont ask.... aish... ㅎ_ㅎ

Desperation. It is the worst pain that one can suffer. The pain and anguish that one feels when he knows nothing can be done to change a situation. It is the highest level of fear. A deep cut in a warrior’s fatals is incomparable to the pain and anguish a prisoner feels when being trapped behind the bars of an inescapable, hopeless dungeon. Even if the body does not fail, the mind will.
Hope. The essence of survival. When all hope is lost, so is the spirit. All of us have been a prisoner in our lives, either by others or by our own doing, and hope is the only thing that can bring us from that hole of despair. This is a burden that all must bear.
For many times in my life, I have felt desperation, felt the loss of hope. It is like an emptiness, a void of total darkness, knowing that no matter how far you walk, how long you wait, or how much you cry, you will never move far from you starting point, if you move at all.
It is like being cornered, pushed to the limit, to the edge of a cliff, to the stern of the ship, and the only outcome you can think of, is failure. In some instances, it is as simple as failing a test. In some instances, it is death.
Yet, why does the human spirit go on? Is it purpose? Or fear? In my stubborn youth, I believed that I could stand alone, that I could conquer helplessness just by sheer determination. I believed that with mere strength, I could go through life without help from anyone, that I could lift every rock that blocked my way, catch every stone that was thrown at me. I believed that with ignorance, I could forget all the pain that I had ever endured, that I could walk forward, blindly, oblivious to my surroundings. In my arrogance, I failed to notice one major fallacy in my web of logic. I did not believe at all.
I had false hope.
Now that I read it, it sounds like crap ><

Hey pigu, you said in your sig that you never change your clothes.. do headgears count for you? xp
For a minute there, when you were describing desperation, it sounded like depression, because you stated 'loss of hope.' I'm not going to be poetic like you two are about it xp but I just want to say... desperation, anger, determination, those emotions can get the right person's adrenline working. Hope is like a mindset to get someone going, but doesn't hope lead to determination which cause the action to live on?
sweatdrop What do I know... I'm in my own little world. 3nodding

thank you
but there's helplessness when there's no hope isn't it? the spirit is the base, hope is the one that moves it. it's sort of like a candle and the flame. the spirit wont burn without it's fire.
