She continued to stir the liquid around in the mug, now cold it was merely there to keep her occupied as the night enveloped her and the divine forces seized her. When they did a most startling change would over come her should she unleash the voice in her head, the lust within the very pit of her soul...would it feed?
Again her gaze trailed upwards and her eyes focused on the beloved, full moon. The benevolent light that granted her both comfort and yet sanctuary for this was the time in which myths were born, when monsters walked the earth and one such as her would be ignored.
Then again...there had been that time with the giant blue dragon and the giant red bird that had almost completely destroyed Tokyo not so long ago, this city was used to unusual disturbances. She was even beginning to agree with the phrase 'match stick city' but nevertheless such thoughts began to leave her, to be replaced by another.
A force was moving towards her, a source of power and the tattoo upon her lower back seemed to burn in anticipation at its arrival to such an extent that she turned her gaze towards the direction of the source and narrowed her eyes...

Nakago Naahh.,..this is more fun...make you sweat it out a little bit! And to think about it...it kind of had to happen this way (At least both Avatars) as they are the antagonists in this case. Can I help it if Seiryuu is just Better...I mean...more popular? ::Innocent look:: ((Hey now . . . I did not say anything about YOUR beast-god, did I? stressed I still wish for more help here! Besides, it was either this or Nakago. I am beginning to regret my decison, but if I played him and you came on it would be confusing, ne?)) Ameko no Mori "A strange mark upon my body?" she says, restating it to be sure. She is quite sure there is only one mark which she can allow to appear, or create the appearance of, for it is her own mark as avatar of Suzaku. "I see, such as the sign, read as "i" upon your knee? Yes, I have such a mark." And shutting her eyes, as if in concentration, a faint red mark begins to appear upon her forehead. It takes a few moments to appear and be legible, yet once it appears, it is the definete sign of "ai" or love. After all, Suzaku, originally named Ho'oh was the pheonix, and he rules over the emotion of love. Watching carefully, an image starts to appear on her forehead. The instant a warm glow starts, Charles starts to widen his eyes in shock. Surely this girl is not the Ogre! Then again, stranger things have happened to him lately. Moments pass, and the symbol of 'ai' appears- if a bit blurred. Feigning complacnecy, Charles relaxes his shoulders.
"Okay . . . good enough for me. If you were my enemy, it would not be red. So, Ellia Seraphim, what brings you to me? I mean other than the distictive pull that I assume is our common bond." Rather than being relaxed, Charles/Chichiri is even more on edge than ever. His memories may still be fragmented, but he remembers his fellow Seishi well enough. 'Ai' was not a symbol he recognized as a mark of Suzaku.
The trouble is that if there is a set of Suzaku Seishi, would there be a set of them for Seiryu, Genbu, and Byakko as well? A four way war of the heavens is not how he would plan an afternoon. More cautious than ever about this strange girl, Charles decides to act amicable. At least he should know what he is dealing with. Suzaku's pull is definitely there, but why to sombody with an alien symbol to the Seishi? Add to that the apparent lack of memory. She knows his powers, but not who he is? Things are just not adding up here . . . too many variables to pin down without allies . . .

Having been wondering what the boy was thinking, she finally responded. "You were the first person I've met since I've arrived here. I admit I should not have been so angry on feeling your power. Yet, I wished to apologize. Also, I wished to ask you for advice in coping in this society. It is very much different than my own."

Arching a single eyebrow with a genuine smile, Charles looks to her. 'since I arrived here . . . coping with this society.' Actual progress. Sure that does not explain much, but at the very least this is starting to garner clues as to what is going on. This girl is from nowhere near here.
"Really? Then perhaps we can share information. I will tell you what I can, and in return you can tell me about yourself and where you come from. You must have been a real bigshot to just assume you could throw your hands around other's necks in your homeland." Beginning to walk, Chalres makes it a point to move further into the commercial sectors of town. Public places . . . nowhere near his home. Deception aside, he will be damned before showing her the way to where he sleeps.

She attempts to crack a smile, to at least chuckel, just to make herself seem more normal. Yet, a bit of a smirk is all she can get. "I was not powerful. I merely had to fend off foes. We fled after all."

Arching a single eyebrow again he turns to her as they walk. "Oh? And just where in the world are you from?"
He was hardly a foe, in fact, she attacked him from who knows where. Appearing out of nowhere, and then 'defending herself'? Yeah . . . right.

"Apologies, I have not mentioned. Unfortunately, I cannot say its name. For, we do not refer to ourselves as a land, but as a people, and our word for ourselves means "the people." I'm sure you have not heard of the "Upuru" tribes, for we are a small culture to the West." she says. She'd thought it over, slightly, and figured it in her head a while ago. It would work, she assumed.

And so it drew ever nearer and as it did so the beast within her mind shivered in anticipation, she could feel its hot breath upon the back of her neck, feel the hair rising upon her arms. Whatever this being was, it was oddly familiar and once she had almost a sense of loyalty to, as though it had granted her the ability to be...what she was.
"Keiko!" She hissed to herself and shook her head as she tightened the clamp around her hair and rose to her feet. It was then that she paused for a few moments before slipping her hands into her pockets and beginning to walk towards the source of power at a somewhat brisk pace, she couldn't help herself...
She had to know what this power was.

"Good evening!" "Greetings," Keiko replied coolly from beneath one of the streetlamps, her gaze trailing up and down the figure for long moments. Her expression was blank however inwardly she squirmed uncomfortably, SURELY this was it. She could sense no other life force and this, this was the one that seemed to pulse with it no matter how small.
"A bit late to be wandering around the backstreets, no?" she enquired after a few moments, her brow arching for a few moments as she glanced at his leg. From there she could smell the blood and in the dim light she could even see the stains on the trouser leg, it HAD to be him, but what in the world had he encountered? She hadn't even fed yet...

arsenicjunkie "Nakago!" She woke screaming. Jun'ko looked around in surprise and saw her mother in a fit of tears standing next to her. Her mother erupted in tears and fell ontop of her, hugging and crying. "I thought you would never wake up! When I found you under that thing I -I just panicked!" "Mom, I just." Jun'ko stopped and sat up. "I just need to use the bathroom." Her mother moved aside and with a quick 'Well, don't over-exert yourself.' "Nakago." She whispered. She could barely remember from her dream the elegant blonde man. The rest of the dream was pretty blurry but could just remember there had been many others, many more shadows in that dream. But they had seemed more like forgotten childhood friends than just figmants of her imagination created in a dream. She sighed and looked out the bathroom window at the melted trash can in her yard, and next to them, her beautiful, electric, pulsing devices piled in a heap. "Nakago..." "What the hell is wrong with me?!?" Jun'ko screamed at herself later that night. "I feel like I'm going insane!" She plopped onto her bed and watched the streetlights turn on. No matter what she took she still felt like her house was a boat, tipping her in one direction. The 'paramdics' didn't have a clue about it. "Ugh!" Jun'ko cried out in exasperation. The pulling felt even worse when she was lying down. Jun'ko walked around her empty room. There was a lot of space to walk in now, but the room felt cold. Jun'ko stamped her foot and ran down the staris, jumping over every other step. She smiled at her mom and grabbed her coat. "I'm going outside for a walk." Jun'ko opened her arms in a hug as her mother came over to hug her for the billianth time that day. Jun'ko stepped outside and closed the door behind her, taking a slow, deep breath.

Back in his world...no one questioned a soldier unless they had a death with or a warrant from higher powers...or...Powers. He didn't take into account that his lng hair was by no means allowed int he police force...one as powerful as he was doesnt have to watch out for such things... Was that it? Was she confident enough of her stolen power that she too would challenge him?
