Hello, I'm Dina(-saur), age seventeen, from the city of all things old and pretty, Philadelphia. I'm probably a typical indie snob, but I try hard not to put myself into that stereotype...the little indie-snob box is stuffed with so many people that it's hard to fit one more!
I like lots of things. Musique que j'aime: Belle & Sebastian, Iron & Wine, Jack's Mannequin, Sufjan Stevens, The Stills, The Shins, Camera Obscura, Jed & Lucia, Of Montreal, Get Him Eat Him, We Are Scientists, Death Cab, Sambassadeur, Elliott Smith, The New Pornographers, Motion City Soundtrack...I should proabably stop. Most of this stuff is on my profile, if anyone wants a completely list (doubtful!).
I also like indie & foreign films, and colors, and Ugly Dolls (Ice Bat is my best frienddd). My favorite stories tend to be urban fairytales, but my book tastes vary. I hope to be able to speak three languages by the time I'm out of college. And I'm horrifically afraid of bees. <3

Hey, I'm Dawn. I'm 18 and currently reside in the suburbs of Philadelphia, just for the summer. I'm a college student studyinging photography. I'm a bit of a music nazi, but within the indie/rock genre I have pretty broad tastes. Here's a list of my (current) top five bands that I'm obsessed with - Zolof the Rock and Roll Destroyer- Fun, bouncy, innovative. They put on an amazing live show which I have had the priviledge of experiencing 8 times now. Check them out- Regina Spektor- She's got an amazing voice. I can't get enough. - Sufjan Stevens- Swoon- The Unicorns- Fun, I'm rather sad they broke up. - Clap Your Hands Say Yeah- Dear god, I could listen to this band for the rest of my life. My other interests include photography, being that I'm going to school for it. Check out my deviantart. I'm really into independent films, quirky stuff. The last filim I saw was a Prarie Home Companion, and my overwhleming hate for Lindsay Lohan ruined the movie. I also enjoy forgein films and speak french, so I am kind of biased when it comes to french films. Some of my favorites are Goodbye! Lenin, The Motorcycle Diaries, The Triplettes of Belleville, The Life Aquatic, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, The Dangerous Lives of Altar Boys, and Kinsey. Fin.

Ah leev about an hour away from Chicago, which is a good thing, rite?
As for my favorite bands ( at the moment )...well, let me list em off. In no particular order, except for Modest Mouse.
Modest Mouse - They changed my life. No, really. They did.
Interpol - Ever since I heard PDA on the radio when I was in 6th grade, I've loved this band (even though I didn't get an actual CD until a year and a half ago...)
Deerhoof- What is there to say about Deerhoof?
Neutral Milk Hotel - Jeff Magnum, come back! Please?!
Frog Eyes - I don't know why I like this band as much as I do. I just do, and I'm not complaining.
Broken Social Scene - Cause=Time and Almost Crimes are the two best songs ever made (in my opinion, of course).
Devendra Banhart - I just got a CD of his a few days ago, and I'm hooked.
Grizzly Bear - I'm a sucker for Lo-Fi indie pop.
Coachwhips - I'm also a sucker for noise punk done well.

Hey. I'm from Richmond, Virginia. It's kind of sad because no one ever comes here. I love Modest Mouse. Really, I like a lot of mainstream indie, but I really want to delve deeper into the depths of indie music. That's pretty much why I joined this group.

hey everyone, nice to be here. I am 26 (tear), from toronto, I sing, but only as a guest these days. I am a photographer, and i am moving to Japan in november.
My favorite local bands are "Tokyo Police Club" and "DD/MM/YYYY".
When it comes to what i am most into... it changes weekly/monthly. Lately i have been listening to a lot of Wolf Parade, !!!, The Islands, Final Fantasy, Silver Apples, Liars, and Kahimi Karie.

I'm Alexa, call me Lex. I am a freshmen in highschool. I attend Forest Hills Easterm. Apparently I am a hawk? yes. So, I like music a lot. It's my lover. I am currently single. yes. Hopefully it'll change soon. Ehm. I am a cheap show goer. I go to cheap shows. I talk to band members, they sign my shoes. I <3 them. I like all types of music. You name it i like ( or will soon). I love La Dispute one of the best local bands ever. check out their myspace. I only like rock.
