"Uh...Hai," I said. I wasn't going to disobey him. I could see it in his eyes, if i disobeyed him, i'd be dead.
"Ye Lord, Mask of blood and flesh, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man, Inferno and pandemonium, The sea barrier surges, March on to the south!," I finished the incantation and quickly made the seal that Sensei had shown me to control it more, "Hadou #31: Shakkaho!" I held my palm up towards the target, focusing not on where my hand was pointing but rather the target, since the energy would go to the target, regardless of where my hand was pointing.
The orange ball came out and blasted into the wall. I was shocked. It had just came out, my Reiatsu was used up in the blast and it had destroyed half of the room wall. I blinked in surprise.

"Good," I said. Then i looked at the books for a moment. We would have to learn some more of Bakudo rather than Hado. He thought a moment and then took out a book, "I believe one last one could be useful." I said.
"I'm not too sure how this works though," I said honestly. Then i started it.
"Constrict your soul, Bound by my will, Chains of earth constrict and coil Way of Binding No. 12: Chains of Earth!" I called focusing on wrapping my Reiatsu around him and chaining him to the ground. Suddenly chains shot up from around Kenji. Two tied around his waist, another two were diagonal across his chest. Two more wrapped around each arm and yanked them outwards. Another two chains wrapped around his legs and pulled them apart slightly. There was a giant lock in the centre of his chest, and at the other end of each chain, there were large steaks keeping the chains in place. I hadn't anticipated it on being so effective, and even still, it was at least five times more powerful than that first one i had used on him.
I watched as the faint signature of my Reiatsu ran through the chains locking him in place securely from five directions.

"Ugh..." I said suddenly stumped. I couldn't even raise my Reiatsu to counter this, it seemed that the chains repelled my Reiatsu back inside me because i wasn't strong enough to even think about countering this one.
"I can't...escape." i said looking up. His face was still emotionless...how could he hold an expression like that for so long dammit. I tried to move, but it was useless, i was completely secure.

"Try it yourself," I said and focused on the chains. They shattered quickly. If it was that powerful, then i highly doubted whether i could get out of it myself. If something this strong was at such a low level, then how powerful would a level 99 be?

"Hai," I grinned happily as i was released. He'd get it serious for this. I did this as i did the one earlier and focused my Reiatsu calming it and then bound my Reiatsu to him.
"Constrict your soul, Bound by my will, Chains of earth constrict and coil Way of Binding No. 12: Chains of Earth!" I said loudly with my hand directed towards him. Suddenly the same procedure happened to him as it had happened to me. Except instead of five stakes, there were only three. So the power of a Bakudo depended greatly on your own Reiatsu level.

"I see..." I said quietly as i was bound, still upright by the chains. I couldn't even budge myself from them. They had literally bound me, but i had come to the same conclusion as him about difference in power, though i didn't let on. I focused my Reiatsu but the power of the Bakudo was strong. I looked up and glared at Kenji. I would have to be careful not to get caught by this.
"There is one other," I said, "Sealing Rings."

"Oh?" I said. I released the Bakudo quickly. So there wasn't that much difference in our power at all, or was he decieving me? I didn't doubt the latter though, he seemed the type to do that.

"Yes, it isn't as strong though." I prepared myself.
"The first ring comes at dawn. The second ring binds at noon. The third ring wraps at dusk. Bakudo #9: Sealing Rings!" I held my hand up and suddenly three rings drew up from the floor around Kenji and constricted firstly around his upper arms, then around his lower arms, and finally around his calve muscles. I let the technique settle. My Reiatsu had focused just enough.

"Sugoi!" He admonished and then tried to move after the flashy display. He couldn't. He focused on his Reiatsu, and although it was weaker than the previous, his Reiatsu still couldn't break it. His Reiatsu level still wasn't high enough.

I quickly dismissed the rings and focused for a moment getting my Reiatsu ready for the next binding that i would endure. My Zanpakuto was humming again and I frowned. Why did it keep drawing out my Reiatsu.
"Very well, your turn," I said.

"The first ring comes at dawn. The second ring binds at noon. The third ring wraps at dusk. Bakudo #9: Sealing Rings!" I said as I concentrated on my Sensei. Then i let the Reiatsu be used and the rings formed around him.
"Hey, that's kinda cool!" i exclaimed. I thought it was pretty nifty. Though i was a little unnerved about how easily these were coming.

I looked at Kenji. He was picking this up at a fast speed. Infact, it was a very fast speed. Though, i was also the same, i too was picking kidou up quite easily and....for crying out loud. I scolded myself for losing control of my reiatsu and tried to tear it away from my Zanpakuto.
However, that wasn't as easy as it had been. My Zanpakuto held onto my Reiatsu sucking it in. I clenched my fists and focused.
"The first ring comes at dawn. The second ring binds at noon. The third ring wraps at dusk. Bakudo #9: Sealing Rings!" I said sharply and instead of placing them around Kenji, they formed around my Zanpakuto. The Reiatsu stopped flowing from me into it, and it shrieked in sudden dissappointment. Though what would happen if it continued to consume my Reiatsu? I frowned and looked at Kenji again.
"It seems that we have finished," I slipped my hand in my pocket and took out the key to my room. I tossed it over.
"This is the key to my room, i should be getting my order later, take care of it, and take your share. I have things to take care of here," ...like my damn Zanputo, i added silently.

"Hai Sensei," I said as i caught the key. I looked at him. His expression told me that he didn't want me back so i assumed we had finished for the night. I climbed the ladders quickly and headed for the dormitories.

I watched him leave before looking down at my Zanpakuto. It seemed to be sulking. I frowned, could a Zanpakuto sulk? I took the whole thing from my waist, sheath and all. I held it by the grip, straight up in front of me.
"Release," I breathed and the rings shattered. The Zanpakuto immediately brightend up no longer dull and sulky. I frowned, how did i know that? The color hadn't changed at all.
"Are you my Zanpakuto?" I asked quietly. Why did i ask that? I wasn't going to get a responce out of it. At least, not yet. I concentrated for a moment in an attempt to hear it. My Reiatsu piled up and started to burn around me. I shrugged, "Take it."
The Zanpakuto flashed and i watched as my Reiatsu was drawn into it. My Reiatsu seemed to weave around it embedding itself into it. I wondered why this was happening, did this usually happen. Even though the amount of Reiatsu going into it was quite high, the same of it didn't change one iota. Once it had drained its fill i put it back where it was supposed to be: at my side, and then held up my hand to a target.
"O Lord, Mask of flesh and bone, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man, Truth and temperance, Upon this sinless wall of dreams unleash but slightly the wrath of your claws!" I began from one of the books i had read, "Hado #33: Sokatsui!" I shot out a huge blue ball. It wasn't the size of the amber cannon, it was much bigger, shooting out not in a ball, but as if blasting in a huge column from my hand. I tried to gather up my Reiatsu, but i just ended up collapsing on the floor unconcious.

I awoke again, i didn't know when. I opened my eyes...i didn't know where either. My eyes widened in shock before returning to their normal state. I was in a crystal forest.
I sat up, against a tree. This place was...cold...no...peaceful. The paths were lined with what seemed to be snow and ice...infact as i looked around, everything was covered with snow and crystals, the leaves though seemed to be actual crystals, and the plants were crystals, just all different shades of blue, and sometimes, other colors such as reds and purples, though never green.
The light played on everything magnificently, creating rainbows wherever i looked.
"Come," I heard. I looked up. Was someone talking to me?, "Come here." It repeated softly, almost like a whisper.
"Who...who are you?" I said slowly, and calmly, choosing my words carefully.
"That doesn't matter yet, come..." The voice beckoned, "Come here." I stood up and looked around.
"Where?" I frowned and wondered what the hell i had gotten myself into. Now where the hell was I. I could see different paths here and there through the forest but one seemed to shine more than the others. I followed it.
"Come here," The whisper came again. I frowned, from what i could hear, it was feminine. I started walking faster. I couldn't understand what it was, and my curiosity was driving me, and also the fact that doing nothing would have most likely annoyed what ever the whisper was. Since i was in an unknown location, i couldn't do that, at least...not until i had some more infomation.
I came to what looked like a clearing, with a huge mangrove tree ahead of me, that seemed to hold a huge red crystal at the centre. I looked around.
"Now where?" I asked. There was no reply. I carried on looking around.
"Here..." The voice said. It was way louder than before. I looked down into the ice, and about a metre below i saw something...
