Bastet stood and leaned on Eclipse, "I'm with Aura, how can we not worry?" She looked through Syrathos. "People collapsing and then becoming transparent isn't normal."

Li studied the few people who had joined the group. So many different beings. It's almost like I'm in the land of the kachinas. She noticed Eclipse was acting rather oddly. It was almost as though something was troubling him. Poor guy she thought. The man with wings had also earned her interest. He had empathy like she had never seen. Her dark eyes narrowed as she tried so make sense of each person. As she though Claw came up to her and rubbed against her side. Her hand automatically went to pet his neck. As she was contemplating, she saw Syrathos pass out. She was even more confounded when she saw a being of light come from his body. Claw began to get uneasy. He growled lowly. "No." she said to him. She then stepped forward, looking at Syrathos' ethereal being. "What magic is this?" she questioned.

"Right, I take it that happens often...seeing as you're so casual about it."
She tucked a piece of hair behind her ear and crossed her arms. "You know, I'm what? I'm old as dirt and angels still amaze..."

Eclipse retracted his wing and took to stepping behind the group, glancing at the bear that was near them.

Bastet stood quietly, nodded to Aura and Eclipse, and headed towards her room. After all the excitement, she felt she needed a long cat nap.

((Bye guys, gotta get up to go out of town))

"I didn't think of that" he smiled "Maybe not then" he sighed.

"Maybe" he thought. "Aura, I am so sorry I have to leave quickly, I cannot ignore the eldars calls no longer, my apologies." he orbed away.

((I'm sorry for getting off so abruptly last night, but I got tired of fighting the computer to put up a post. It's just not worth it when you have to hit "go back" and "refresh" a thousand times only to be told "sorry there's an error". Hopefully that won't happen again tonight.))

As everyone left, Li looked to Aura. "Well, I guess it's just us." They stood in silence for a few moments before she chose to speak again. "I think I will find him an animal," she stated matter-of-factly. "They are excellent company and the most loyal friends one can ever have." She rubbed Claw's neck to emphasize her point. He turned his head sideways and growled happily as she scratched his sweet-spot. She laughed a bit at the rather odd sound. "I'll be back." she said and took off toward her room. When she returned she was without her bow and arrows. Instead, she now carried a staff with beads and eagle feathers dangling from the top of it. She had also left Claw in her room. "Now, let us go outside and find him a companion," she waited for Aura's response before she headed out.

((Yeah Gaia won't seem to give us a break... stressed ))

Aura looked to Li and then half smiled. "If you can find an animal that is able to be the companion of an angel, then feel free. But you'd probably have to find one like my friend Eclipse here." She pet the wolf for emphasis of her statement. "Please excuse me Li, I need to attend to something. Aura walked off, holding silent conversation with Eclipse over the link they shared.

Seems the wolf was troubled. With all the new animals around, he was beginning to realize just exactly how un-animal he really was. He could barely make out what they were saying. He wasn't' intended too in the first place. He remembered his creation; out of darkness, intended to be used as Aura's weapon.

Soon enough Aura had told him to go off, not to worry. Then she found herself in the library and fetched her journal from one of the shelves. She flipped it open to the section marked with a midnight blue ribbon, the ribbon that marked Eclipse coming into her life and changing her. Maybe she could answers for him from here.

Eclipse meanwhile perked up his ears, hearing the clinking of metal.Curious to the sound and intended to leave Aura to what she was doing, he followed his ears around the manor, soon spotting Saradin.
